Wizard Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 Quake III was all about the mulitplayer revolution era(1997-2001) that was taking place. Since everyone was getting faster internet and so on (playing on 56k was mad fun), Quake III has always been and always will be my main love in deathmatch gaming. Even more then Quake II (which was modded as much as Half-Life until it took the title for most developed mods in 2001).
Agozer Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 Raven usually does an exremely good job, and I have high hopes for Quake IV. But yes, this is somewhat old already; important news nonetheless.
