darkmage479 Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 (edited) or Devil May Cry, which, by the way, part 3 is gonna 0wn Edit - to clarify, SFA2 could be thought of as SFA revision 1. It was Capcom's attempt to make up for the original and has the same plot, etc. The story goes SFA2 - SF1 - SFA3 - SFII - (RIVAL SCHOOLS) - SFIII Edited December 3, 2004 by darkmage479
Agozer Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 What does Rival Schools have to do with all of that?
Daeval Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 Rival schools is actually connected to street fighter by fluff? Sweet! This I have to look into...
Gryph Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 (edited) I thought the only connection between Street Fighter and Rival Schools was that Sakura makes an appearance? Only one man can show us the path...WHERE IS K'ANON MAN?! Edited December 3, 2004 by GryphonKlaw
Agozer Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 Well, yeah, Sakura is the only logical connection to me, since Street Fighter Zero/Alpha 2 & 3 come before Rival Schools.
darkmage479 Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 I read a story guide that attempted to place Darkstalkers, Street Fighter, and Rival Schools on the same timeline. Weird stuff indeed. And yes, Sakura is the only connection between SF and RS, but it still fits in the timeline.
Lucandrake Posted December 5, 2004 Author Posted December 5, 2004 Ok, we all get the picture, sf and rs are in common by sakura, sfa 2 broke away sfa1 and came before sf1, (Wich is weird because SAGAT got his scar in sf1 and has it in SFA 2) and capcom makes the most expensive games ever. I went to EB games the other day and I saw a HUGE box, the price was $200 and it came with a video game, a controler with more buttons then a flocking keyboard and bigger then my already big moniter, a book telling you instructions for every button , and the video game itsself, and in the corner of the front of it shows CAPCOM in big yellow letters, anybody ever heard of this game? The controlers huge because your inside of a robot in the game.
Agozer Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 That wouldn't be a *certain* Bill-BOX game would it? I don't know if it was made by Capcom though. I'm thinking Steel Batallion.
Lucandrake Posted December 6, 2004 Author Posted December 6, 2004 Ahh, there we go, Steel Betalion, thats the one, yeah thats the name, and it was made by capcom when I checked with the employ's, is it a long game? I don't want to waste $200 on a 5 hour game, that bit** better last a week or two.

One huge plasma screen + that controller that came with the game = Serious gaming immersion. It's fun, but way past my budget. Only for hardcore mech fans with huge wallets.
Lucandrake Posted December 6, 2004 Author Posted December 6, 2004 Well, I'm not the one with the budjet, my parents are, remember im 14....., so thank god im not paying for it, but my X-Box is in my living room with the big screen t.v , go mom.
