silVa Posted November 26, 2004 Share Posted November 26, 2004 Doesnt matter if just 1 game works, the vast majority of downloaded cds will have the disc protection removed, this makes it so that you can copy the cd with any old basic burning program. The drawback of this is obvious, it is not the original anymore and needs also a cracked executable that does not search for the protection on the disc. This also shows when you want to update the game, you need the latest cracked executable aswell. If you have a perfect 1:1 copy of the original, only then can it be recognised as an original.
