  1. use win2ds, works pretty good, and it's server app is somewhat better then pointyremote's, only it is really slow, PR solution is more eficient I think.
  2. good to see you're still working on this, what about a background server? or maybe something that minimizes to tray automatically?
  3. just leave the ds ip as default if your LAN network address is 192.168.1.0 of course and a stupid question, the win2ds server app is on right? you shouldn't need to setup a dmz cuz simply put you are not trying to access from WAN, so it would do no good, the router shoudn't be blocking LAN traffic, unless you set it up so it would do so. well, sure as hell if the ip he sets for the DS is not in the same range then the router it will never connect hehe, not ever.
  4. uhmm.. dunno never tryed, but inded i would have to know the port to forward it in my router, it should be possible though.
  5. hehe well that's allready possible with pointyremote or win2ds , it's really a shame pointyremote didn't got a subforum too though.
  6. i really don't think this would be good on FPS, there's absolutely NOTHING that beats keyboard/mouse combo for FPS, where it really shines is playing more arcadeish games. i really like to play my snes roms with it.
  7. hehe ok it worked now, the IPs where right though... have no idea what i've done.
  8. damn, can't get this to work, all other wi-fi appz work for me but this one, in the ini file config remote IP is the one set for you DS right?, it's everything in there, once on udp test i put my PC IP on dest IP but still nothing happens, dunno what's up.
  9. Hi, same here! I can't get past the waiting screen, and the server says it cannot bind to the port (wich is free), I don't even get the firewall popup as normally. Is there some library file missing on the distribution? I was just myself starting to work on a thing like this, but I guess there is already many people working on it now... Just one idea: why not try to load and save the settings to the CF using the simple readconfig and writeconfig that are in my WiFi transfer program? You can find the source code on the website http://bafio.drunkencoders.org It's far from perfect, but allows to avoid entering the detail each time... Plus it could be kind of a standard until we get the settings from the lib Bafio <{POST_SNAPBACK}> it was ranging on the waitng screen for me too, then i remebered i have WEP enabled on my router, and thius app does not support WEP, dunno if this aplys for you though i really think this should have WEP support like the others edit: man this is really neat, anyway you should make it so whatever whe are scrolling on the botton screen is zoomed in on the upper screen also auto refreshing, but then i guess it woud be to damn slow, just a thought though
  10. you know what would be great? if you made the server app a background process, so one could set it to start on boot and whoever use the computer wouldnt notice it , would be great to mess around hehe.
