That's too bad if a game like UMK3 is not playable on a machine like mine 1,4 GHz(real frequency)/256 ram/64 mb video.
I will use an older version of Mame,it wont work on 103 no matter what i do.
Anyway, they should do smth about those games to make them playable again on average machines.
-
So uncheck direct draw,check direct 3d ?
Frame skipping should be automatic for best speed ?
Edit : I dont get it why these two games are the only among many that have issues with 103.Even Kof2003 runs perfect on 103.
-
As Mame progresses i see that my PC can't hanle it like it used to.
For example in v0.63 MK3 and UMK3 work perfect but in 103 they are so choppy...
What are the minimum specs for Mame and how can we tweak more speed out of it ?
-
M3 is the best right now..my opinion

I got Romceter and started having headaches..
I managed to scan a few roms..
All of them are no good...files missing inside them...
How do i get these files ? Is there a place ?
Or i have to re-download the whole rom ?That would be not fair.
I noticed roms get updated often, along with emulators..
So let's say i download a rom and it doesnt work on the newest version of an emu but maybe it will work on an older one..
Is there a way to scan a rom and get : compatible with emulator..... up to version...
-
I have this fobia of too many folders in emulators.
What can i delete ? This goes especially for Mame....

Have you tried PSX Multi Converter(PsxMc)?
It's recent and it plays audio and video and can even convert them to mp3 or avi.
-
Protections?
They took protections for an arcade game? Why?
They were expecting it do be dumped and emulated?
Do the guys from MAME or Zinc have the mainboards of the games they are working on...or how do they get their data about how to emulate the games ?
-
Is there any progress with Namco System 11 and 12 emulation?
-
You are correct.
Sturmvogel, you need a capture card or tv tuner with capture capabilities. They also come in PCMCIA interface so it will fit nicely in your laptop.
Make sure the card has a video-in !!
-
Not really.A screensaver would be enough, but if you really want to...

Yup
Now i am really feeling like on Playstation I

What is the best audio enhancer for Winamp..
I used Dfx and Wow..Anyone better?
And is there a better mp3 player than Winamp?
Soory for the offtopic but i really want to know this
-
Yes,they can tell if the game uses some sort of verification called DNAS.If the game does not have this DNAS protection then it will be fine. But if it does then you will have to patch the game before you burn it..I don't know more details but maybe you can look for yourself http://forums.afterdawn.com, a lot of PS2 topics there, look for information on your problem.

You really did the worst thing possible..you should have upgraded to 2.0..What game did you want to play ?

I want to rip whatever possible movie or sound from Soul Calibur (Dreamcast).I have a.nrg file which is 772 mb,or smth like that.
What to do,what to use ?
Also,it wouldn't hurt to know how to do that for PSX and PS2
-
I manually edited the.ini.. lol
Now really,if it would have said detect roms i would have figured it out.
But to be honest, i never really played that much on this,i used Mame.
-
About the.ini file, I just clicked the middle button (DETECT), and it brought my games in just fine.
Detect..lol..I can't believe how flocking stupid i am..
-
You can tell where to type the rom name but it's really complex job so please post a good.ini for me somewhere..
-
*Guilty Gear (PS1-1998) this one you can play on Epsxe.
*Guilty Gear X Advance Edition (GBA-2002) on Visual Boy Advance emulator.
*Guilty gear X ( Dreamcast-2001) might work on Chankast, dont' know how it behaves though..
*There's also Guilty Gear X(2000),Guilty Gear XX(2002) and Guilty Gear Isuka (2004) for the arcade but they are too new to be emulated.Mame doesn't support them,i dont even know if they have been dumped.
So just play the PC version of Guilty Gear X or Guilty Gear XX Reload if you want to play the newer games. GG Isuka is not for PC,just consoles and arcade.

Maybe i'm doing something wrong but the emu does not recognise my roms unless i open up neorage.ini and input the name of the game,,for example kof2003.zip or mslug5.zip etc,,and there are a lot of them and it's kinda hard to to all of them..that's why i was wondering if someone can help me out with a ini file where every game is written.
Also the emu is in spanish, can't we translate into english?

Yea i know about that for a few days.
Thing is,that hacked firmware will not be released, because the dude who did kinda doesnt want to go to jail, you know..what he did could put him away for quite some time..
But,what he left behind him is a rich documentation on how to do it,so there's a chance someone else will in the future, and lets hope they will not have the same moral principles.
It's been done for Hitachi DVD unit, not for others.
