probably not. But I think it has something to do with the chd's in MAME. Cause when that patching tool was made, the CHD's were still in hdcomp format, then they were put in CHDMAN format, and that kinda made it harder. your best bet is to ask around rom share where I found it cause someone from there made it

np, though I do recommend playing with the options and shiit like that to make sure it wasn't all just a big waste of TYME

yeah, the rom set has to be unzipped because on U64emu you have to link each file individually when they're not compressed

Well, this might be a stupid question, but have you tried just renaming the extension to img? nope, that doesn't do the trick when it is a CHD, there's headers and shiit like that that's added to it to make it compressed along with MAME info that U64emu will not understand Ah I see. Does your "coverter" only do CHD --> IMG or does it also do it vice versa? this thing does CHD ---> IMG only, I memmer there being a IMG ---> CHD patch, but I don't know if it's still around

what you're supposed to do is...put the kinst.CHD or kinst2.CHD in that directory, then double click on the.bat file on which you wanna patch. For example, double click on KIPatch if you wanna use it for KI 1

then right click on it and "save as"
