  1. I checked with Gamecop to make sure this was ok, but if it does need to be moved and or maybe pinned to a different forum, thats cool.

I wanted to contribute a little something to the 1emulation community, and being home sick from work, I had some time to make a tiny little webpage with some pictures of games on it.

Now, for anyone who wants to play along, just goto the page and look at the pictures, then post your answers in this topic. Just number your answers 1-5, and bonus. After each contest deadline, I'll announce the winner and donate 50 credits from my stash to the winner. Please try and just make one reply, but you can edit your answers as long as it's before the contest deadline. I plan to due this each week, barring any problems. If anyone has any suggestions on how to improve on this idea, feel free to PM me

But for now, here's the link for the first contest. The deadline for replies is Sun, March 20th 2005, at 9pm Central US time.

    Name that Game Trivia!

Edit: I had my days wrong, Sunday is the 20th, not the 19th as I had originally posted.

  2. Ok, I downloaded Cassini, the Guardian Heroes iso, and a couple of Saturn bios files, but Cassini give me some kind of error(all I can read is BIOS, then some other characters). Does the bios file need to be named something specifically for Cassini to find it?

  3. I think that's one of the things that kept me interested, using the ships in battle, not to mention the whole pirate theme was pretty cool.

As far a a game's length is concerned, if a game is going to take me over 40 or so hours to complete, I can rarely find enough time to see it through to the end. That's my only real negative about RPGs, is the length of time it takes. I know that most, if not all RPGs need a good amount of time to develop the plot and characters, and I have enjoyed alot of them, just never can make it to the end of them.

  4. Some of the pictures are a little reminicent of the DC game 7th Cross Evolution, or something, but this game looks like it kicks the crap out of that one.

I am really looking forward to it, even though I am not a big fan of the Sims

That was the first thing that came to my mind, was 7th Cross Evolution, but if this game is half as good as I hope it will be, that will still be 10x better that 7th Cross Evolution.

  5. Maybe i'm in the minority, but i like GetRight, it does the job for me. I've also used Download Mage,it was cool because you could download what files you needed from a zip file, instead of the entire thing. I don't know of any other programs that do that.

  6. According to a GameGenie code faq in the FF2 section on Gamefaqs, there are two versions of the game, you may want to read it, and see if using the alternate codes work for you. You might be entering codes for the version you don't have. Also, there is a save state hacking guide for FF2 on the site. If you know how to use a hex editor, you could edit your zsnes save state.
