They are also supposed to be doing a Law and Order episode that is based on the basketbrawl that occured between the Pistons and Pacers last year.

AVG Free Edition is a pretty good AV prog, it has a pretty good rating from others, and I think it's a solid program. I haven't had any problems yet. AVG Free
As for adware, I use Lavasoft's Ad-Aware. The free version of it seems to do the job, though I haven't tested any other
And here's a link to ZoneLab's Zone Alarm firewall program. The free version is the last one on that list.

Feel So Numb - Rob Zombie

It's a good idea, we just need more people who will actually play in them if they sign up, too. Is there any way possible to offer a prize, like credits, to the winner? I know that would only really affect people who are active in the Forum Attack portion, but it would be a nice incentive

NBC ran a re-run of Law & Order SVU last night, dealing with the murder of a prostitute by some teenagers, who were supposedly influenced by a video game. Did anyone else happen to see this episode? I missed bits and pieces of it because I was doing other stuff around the house. I do remember the defendant in the case say he felt like he was still playing the video game when he killed the girl.

I was wondering, after seeing all of the hacks that some MAME variants can play. Are the hacked games basically the same as using the IPS patches that can be applied to some of the games in Mame Plus, or are they something totally different?

Yeah, we need to find a game that Sturmvogel really sucks at (good luck, lol), so the rest of us have a chance

Now that I think about it, there is an ultracade machine in an aracde in a nearby town. Just now hit me that it's probably of of mr. Foley's products. This whole ordeal is going to hurt him more than benefit him.

Heh, this tournament is gonna take as long as the NCAA basketball tournament. So far, I just see two people in the 2nd tier.

That's just twisted and wrong, for two reasons. One, that he want's 50 grand to "save" the bunny, and two, that he already has almost 17 grand donated to "save" it! As much as I am an animal lover, i can't see donating even a dollar to hopefully keep it off his dinner plate. More power to him, I guess.

There was also a news report not too long ago about a company who was wanting to make tasers easily avaliable to anyone to carry for protection. Can you imagine the possible chaos if everyone was walking around with tasers? Get into an accident at an an intersection, and some guy gets out of his car and just zaps you...that's an equally scary thought.

Did he uppercut him into the pit?
Seriously that's no joking matter. Those people need to be put away.
True, they do, and all this news does is just add more fuel to the "video games cause violence" issue.
Side Note:Wasn't there a death involving some kids trying to mimic the Power Rangers a few years ago, too?
-
Maybe the kids will find the body and do scorpion's "get Over here!" move, using a fishhook and twine, to pull him from the river.
Guess if they were more friends, they'd have just done a friendship fatality move.

After trying the version of NeoMame that I downloaded a month or so ago, I don't see a bit of color difference or anything between NeoMame with HQ filter, and the Mame32plus I use with Kreed's 2x Super Sai filter. I posted the shots if anyone can tell any difference
MS 3 With Kreed's Super Sai 2x:
NeoMame with hq2x filter:
Another thing, with hq2x filter, i took a major speed hit, only getting about 31 fps, on a p4 2.53ghz

It was down when I woke up this morning, but just as I was about to leave for work, around 7:30am CST, it came back up.

The judge story is pretty good. Amazing the intelligence of some people.
Along the lines of the tasering story, I heard on the radio today that police tasered a man a a Chuck-E-Cheese recently. small article below from rockymountainnews.com
AURORA - A 19-year-old man was being held for investigation of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and trespassing after a skirmish with Aurora police Sunday at a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant.Officers used a Taser stun gun to subdue the man, who allegedly refused to show proof that he had paid to be eating food in the restaurant. Aurora police spokesman Larry Martinez said a struggle broke out after police asked the man to step outside the business to resolve the matter.
Police seem very taser happy nowadays...

Cool....Do you do these with photoshop Magnis?

Hopefully Flagship will be able to continue with good storylines and such without his presence.

It was good for a couple of minutes of laughs, but I agree, he definately sounds like a jerk. Guess he's pretty well trusted though, considering the positive feedback.
