I'd say that is prolly it. like I said I grab just about every new release 360 and PC game that hits. and I have an endless stream of movies all night long at work..... its all just too much. When I got into SNES playing, before joing UG I was just downloading roms at about 1-2 a week and beating them prior d/ling another one. Then one of the first things I downloaded at UG was a SNES rom pack and right after it finished d/ling, I deleted it, I didn't want to play it anymore.

Damn, how the hell did the dev's make the game , supercomputers? Ok, so now that reality is set in, parts, suggestions? I still don't know whether or not to go AMD/Intel , ATI/Nvida, wtf crossfire is, Ram I'm pretty sure I'll just go with 4 gig DDR2 (further details then that I'm un-sure of), and if I should get a super Duel core or a avg quad core? Did some reading up on Asus, don't know "too" much but recommendations by not only cinder but a highschool tech geek I used to hang with so I'm pretty sure I'll go that route with the mobo. Razer Mouse/keyboard + awesome games *hug*

What about in terms of V-Cards, and should they be bought depending on the processor? (Some people tell me go intel because they are above the market atm, but then others tell me AMD is better suited for gaming? aside that, for some reason my brain connects Intel to Nvida and AMD to ATI, is my brain doing a common sense thing or just assuming?) O and to answer Don's What do I want out of it? I want to be able to run Crysis on max, and be ready to run games like "Guild Wars 2" when released, monitor is optional but I know that I wont be happy unless I get a decent widescreen one with a pair of either logitech gaming gear (mouse/keyboard) or RaZer, and a kick ass headset to go with it (I plan on doing heavy vent) and make them fit all under the 2k budget. If I can't run Crysis on max under that budget then tell me my dreams are false, so I can go ahead and start picking out decent parts for a computer that can run games coming out for at least 3-4 years . Even if on the 4th year I'll end up running specs on low just to get 30 fps.

So Quad Cores really are useless atm? What about in terms of future-proofing, will it still be useless? Aside that, hmm, is DDR3 worth it? 4 gigs? Also what kind of mother board would be good for gaming, like the nvdia SLi's?

imax is to much $$$, however the number of times me and my friend went to the movies combined to watch it would add up to around one imax ticket.

There are some awesome cam's of it running around the internet. Not DVD quality but you can watch the entire thing and KNOW what your seeing.

You are correct! Don't bother "renting" spore, seriously, do yourself a favor and "burrow" it from the depths of the internet, EA fuked up with the DRM sh!t and they shouldn't get a dime until it's ripped completely off the program.

I can't be patient, like I said before I've been wanting a rig like this ever since middle school, I'm being patient now as it is . Also it's not the risk of self-building since I'm pretty confident I can (I remember cinder describing it as red part goes in red slot), it's more of a, how the money will be dealt, it's not all up-front.

O I forgot to mention, I have to get the PC in full, as in, I don't want to "build" it just receive it in the mail with preferences like that site does.

So ever since I got my first PC in middle school one of the things I've always wanted to do was get a PC made specifically for gaming. Now I have the chance to do that, and my budget is $2,000. I tried looking at alien-ware first because that's what I remember being good way back before I hit puberty, well, lets just say I managed to past the budget by merely adding liquid cooling and a out-dated processor, so scratch that! I did a little searching and ran into this site, Cyber Power PC. Now every time I make something, I usually hit a little past the 2,000 limit, or whenever I go under the limit I end up screwed somewhere (last time I couldn't get a monitor). I need help x.x, suggestions on parts under the budget please! If there is a better site please direct me to it as well.
