  1. Hell yeah! she beat women sufferage on 1emu, you go Bambi!
  2. It's definitely sad and it'll only get worse, in my opinion. Cloud Gaming is a perfect example of how things could become much worse. With no real hardware to exploit, all the data is stored in the 'cloud'. Ultimately, you would basically be owning a box with no real logic or power. The sad thing is that, cloud computing can be a great thing and at the same time it can be an awful one, when used for setting parameters for consumers. We're almost coming to a generation where future generation won't really know what ownership is actually like. I say almost because DLC is a perfect example of that. We buy things that should have normally come with the physical copy of your game but in reality people just punch in their credit card numbers just to get those extra rehash-able models from a server and then becomes stored digitally on your Hard drive for as long as the service is still in existence and when it's not you would have just realized what you purchased had no real existance + no value = you owned nothing and wasted your money on some cheap ass fantasy where you thought you actually owned something.
  3. If i were to take a guess, i'd say it's a server issue and your phone not being compatible with IPS Mobile, still not being compatible is hard to believe since even on the ps3's web browser it shows up fine. Could be your cookies, try doing a clean up.
  4. 32" Plasma Monitor that is attached to my netbook that uses a 10" LED Display. Normally, this TV/Monitor would be attached to my main machine. Eventually, I'd like to go dual monitor with 2 LED Displays.
  5. Today is annual pony day, kind of irritating.
  6. Doable, I will have that for you sometime during the week. P.S I did not mean to blow away your entry, I'm sorry if I offended you.
  7. ^ that would be your adblocker. You've been pranked. lol
  8. Glad you guys like it, here's an update to my entry.
  9. Here's my entry, could do better but i'm limited at the moment to how much I can do. Hope you like, tell me what you think? I personally think it's good, but my guess is that xbox activist may think it looks too promotional.
  10. Me: Back in my day, we had games that could be bought in stores and when opened it greeted us with an interesting smell. Kid: why was the smell interesting? Me: it smelled like something brand new, never before opened. Kid: Hmm I wonder what that's like. Me: Yeah, the smell was just the tip of the ice berg, the real kicker here is that everything inside was brand new and it included a manual, disc or cartridge or even sometimes other extra goodies like 1 month of xbox live. Kid: Wow really? Me: Yeah really! Me: The best part here is that you get to keep it. it was entirely up to you, if you decided to open the game or not. You could potentially keep the game for collective reasons and sell it one day for large amounts of money. Kid: Wow I wish games were like that today... Me: Yeah me too. Me too... Kid: That's a cool story, I'll be going now Me: Enjoy your barcode kid, you own it. Kid: I will thanks! Kid: I can't wait to play Fibble! FLICK N' ROLL, here i come!
  11. Seems a bit faster, though not very smooth but that could just be my netbook.
  12. Kids these days, all they care about is Angry Birds. << That's their fondest childhood memories as adults.
  13. Not bad, I think the coordinated button colors adds quite a bit of flare and meaning to what the forum is about, gaming. ... That, and it reminds me of the Super Famicom logo.
  14. I think it also has more to do with not many even knowing what Final Burn is. Though I do agree that a lot seems to slip right under their noses especially progress regarding Cxbx from blueshogan's branch.
  15. Well, looks like something is indeed misleading. My profile says 818, I do recall being way over 578. But whatever, I don't care for the Veteran group.
  16. Xbox-scene.com seems very healthy to me, I frequent there.
  17. Well, not everyone has the money or the time to keep it all going. I respect Xtreme2Damax and Generalpl0t's decisions, they did the right thing.
  18. What is misleading? BTW, you need a new avatar. Nothing at all, I misinterpreted your first post for something else.
  19. Not to mention, chrome is the only browser that can make google "Do a barrel roll"
  20. I'm not so sure about the web cache'ing, but I do agree that the browser itself is pretty zippy on most places i visit/ponder upon. It does have some very neat features and seems to have a very huge edge since it's heavily unified with google.com itself. Perhaps, we may start seeing other browsers fade into oblivion like netscape.
  21. Probably a bit meaningless but, I recommend some experimenting with this theme. The theme is great and all and I for one appreciate the dark environment for other said reasons. However, I think some other things should be looked at to improve performance; such as the background image, perhaps it's size is too big and that can puts some strain on the browsing experience. The image format, if it's anything like bmp or png's then expect some sluggish-ness when loading, Check to see if it's gif or jpeg. Likewise, go deeper and try to remove the background and see what type of performance increase was gained by doing so, If there are any improvements from doing that, then it's most likely the background image and perhaps needs a change in format or a modification of its size. Of course, this is just some minor tips, the real issue could be the jquery code itself or perhaps the theme does/tries to do cache'ing and isn't working out too well. *stumps*
