added BootXBMCusingXBMCshortcutxbe=will add option to start menu to Launch XBMC...this will launch XBMCshortcut.xbe (this file must be created with xbmc shortcut maker and point to your XBMC xbe) red wanted this....I guess ill have to document this stuff but the features in log in cos for a test i need to know its working...also splash screen stuff maybe hard ill look at it sometime

ummm you can generate a short cut using XBMC shortcut......as it wont want to boot to the location of the bios...that is set to CoinOPS for this so they want some way to boot XBMC...just running a shortcut would be fine..... ill point it to CoinOPS/XBMCshortcut.xbe and people will have to make it I think ummm I cant get any version of KI sources to compile... id like to and ill add KI to coinops no issues at all

ok adding another hidden option StartMenuBootToXBMCShortcut=add the option the start menu to boot to XBMC shortcut xbe...what is the path and location people cant this.....E://Shortcut.xbe ?

its a one stop shop put on and everything is setup correctly...no need to learnt anything

added ini settings LockoutStartMenu=lock out the Start button from bring up the menu LockoutAdvancedOptions=Lock out enabling of advanced mode both cant be accessed by GUI but are there in the ini mainly for cab users NOTE :: people can adjust the pixel perfect stuff cos with advanced gone as they have the basic options...but they cant do shit if you disable the stat menu not even adjust the screensize...they can only play games

added 50 more imports titles to SNES alot of good games missed on the xtras by looks....anyways more inports added and collecting more for showcase

its on the 2 do list....ki which I cant compile the sources...if I could it would be added that weekend(KIxxx) and midway core is easy enough(I havent research the speed of the diff cores and what is best...really I want narc..nba jams...mk1 and 2 anything else is a bonus...those others are esentual....both are coded to be able to be launched in CoinOPS now I just need to do the cores...midway has no hd so I might port that also get KIxxx compiling and ill add it you could also help with dk2 hehehehehe and add it or that will take a few hours as well...I know you could help with both

yes it means you could force it to any mode for any game....no matter what the setting is...like the automatic sound off and all time classics/hot games they can be customised though the xml...also game launchers are run though the xmls

XBMC interface is being voted out sorry...they want CoinOPS interface I mean id never do anything like what ive seen... ok ill add a setting to stop start menu...though the ini then people can turn it off..this is cabnet people...ill also add a hidden setting to boot to XBMC for cabnet people

ive seen madmab stuff and I can say you should stick to that....i cant do anything like that

I havent thought about it at present....its pretty easy to add..ill talk with some and may get time to add it...all it would do is work like the romstatus.xml and use method in settings if nothing in xml if not it could be set to run a mode...if you like pixel perfect and dont like any overscan choose pixel perfect auto fit and adjust the borders of where it fits yourself

because im fast moving to a new build.....dont download anything till CoinOPS reignite X is my answer for normal people and why I hinted at it for people that want a say in version X they will need these builds to have an informed say...this is why I released them with nothing but the xbes and why no support files are included that have also been updated.... so a Big hint CoinOPS reignite X is close if you want a say grab the fast coming out patchs and look...then have your say....as reignite is about to get locked down forever there is about 100 changes since R2 includes over 150,000 lines of code commited.... about 50 percent more settings.... if your someone like cba its obvious you should stick with a build you like and know and thats fine by me....if you want to try new stuff every week grab these they are small and easy to add...everything is automatic... but if you end up grabing "CoinOPS reignite X" next week you wont get a say but you can get a solid build...built on releases and real world testing by interested people that grabbed R 5 6 7 8 Peace and thanks for noticing cba the reason for the lock down to X is to lock down a set for a new Showcase...im sorry I add all the stuff so quickly lol some of this stuff has been on the to do for a year...so I cleared it quickly for the new build....screen rotation stuff...pixel perfect stuff...font stuff....more game folders selectble all that stuff comes to mind plus more in just the last few weeks...not to mention launching most popular console and handheld games and adding the sorting stuff so arcades consoles and handhelds can be separate or merged....fantastic option for me anyways thats a good time to say its nearing lockdown.... well you guys dont understand the issues and thats why ill leave you to it ...xports emus endup in F:/xbmc/videos and then the people started crying they couldnt find them...the young ones have there own xbox on there small tv and take it to friends.... anyways you guys can stick with madmab stuff which you will be im sure...this as I say is for people that want change and I know of many....so no offense although you say they find it is easy I do actually watch them....and I wont be adding this stuff as ive seen the same issues with these systems come up time and time again. I think its obvious if you sit people down on the two with no knowedge which one they can play and which one ends up a mess....including a scrambled skin and wierd stuff like that...dont know how they manage but I was sick of fixing all the issues with peoples xboxs with these emus...and now I dont have to... The videos will only be deleted for Console stuff as its whats asked for by the many...im simply giving you guys the option....of what you guys want....anyone else like rx can do his own build no issues...I personally wont use it but hey power to him for doing it.... I do this stuff for people like megabungle ... when I started I just wanted an easy gui.... then I found so many cool games I didnt know about..... as I code it I saw many issues with what people say is true, even rx list has many issues he missed and also many issues he stated that arnt true...so if he gets it wrong what chance does someone have that just wants to play games.....the solution for them.... SHOWCASE....... the solution for people that really think they know what they are doing(ive seen few that understand CoinOPS setup to my depth)then they are free to do any build they want...nothing is locked

its ok....im just saying its not really helping this thread ..... its really just saying dont worry about showcase 2.... which is fine to think but is kind of irralivant to the topic at hand which is about doing it

its looking like ill remove all console from the build including the catagory sorting and videos etc......this will save a few gig of bandwidth if this is what is wanted...one week to decide then im looking at this stuff clearly as CoinOPS reignite X will be out and it will be the final reignite

oh well ive tested on many people and they find even exiting games confusing... it cant be filtered as easy or sorted as easy....ive tested it on many people...maybe 50 or so and its just what ive seen...I saw the same thing on FBAxxx that they never found any of the games in the tabs....im only talking about new people....also I found people had massive issues with xport emus and other ones when moving from hd to sd tvs all the time they basically ended up having to adjust there games everytime they moved....they got stuff scrambled and overall they said they didnt like the experience...its just my findings and I listen to the young ones and the non experienced people....just for what I do....and I enjoy it much better as im sure many do im sure people dont but they can do there own thing really....I wont let clutter and stuff get in the way of playing games and having fun....as it will disapoint the people I do this for and this stuff has been tested on them and they remain pretty much constant to what they want Plus they just like it in one consistant interface...sorted the way they want it...and tracked for useage and also being able to easily setup there own favs...works perfect for me...im not forcing anyone to use the features they are there and from my tests most people that just want to play will prefer it that way.... Zhoul no offense but your comments are against the top votes you obviously dont really know that people want Showcase 2 ... CoinOPS reignite X is only one week away it will be the final build of reignite and is the full version not just xbes..... a few tidy ups...new skin features loaded also some of the hidden stuff will be revealed.... smb is setup though the tdata/udata babe8888 mameox.ini need to know any new ideas or bugs...ill try my best then its shutting reingite down...."CoinOPS reignite X" should end as a well features bug free emu

to everyone it seems pointless to me to bloat up my xbox to play Final Fight 2 and Final Fight 3 also no one I know wants to load multiple EMUs with multiple guis and going between them, they just play all the arcade types of games off one easy GUI.....xport stuff confused the young kids so this is just to play arcade games...if your an emu snob use the full version....ive added it for those that want it....and it works 100percent...me and everyone I know uses it.... Anyways it up to you guys arcade will be 1300 games.....with sort out consoles it will be about 1750 games...pick wisely I have both builds but im only releasing one and it will be all sorted with everything matched

12,000 is all arcades and all console games.....its every game coinops supports the voting for arcade games only.... and 12000 games is biggest. Clearly I shouldnt trust people anyways as they contridict themselves tristanx this stuff isnt for you....what you wanted was done long ago all what you talk emuwise about is gone for me as clutter its clear to me by download figures you are not the majority tristanx.....you can read the figures for yourselve and its pretty obvious your in the minority...as your in the minority you will have to do stuff like what you say yourself and please release it for everyone that would be great...best of luck

I just need a list of all those system games you think will fit into coinops well and a place I can grab them...ill do all the work making sure it all intergrates correctly...naming...catagories etc... The skin engine is about to get easy to reskin for newbes....if they do then ill add in the skin chooser if not its clutter...
