light gun is piece of piss but im waiting on you....cba I dont use it...I know your a total newbe and will never ever have a chance of working it out...and I know its simple as so as per the other stuff rx said he will do and stuff you said you will do we are waiting lol within 4 years it may happen yeah right... I did what rx said in the first night as well....this stuff is level 1 coding....and alot is even in just remed out or no gui...just need to do that in the sources..... and yes coinops as you guys are finding has fixed alot of issues of the cores and final burn....and alot of stuff is now playable with more ram in the cores...also games as you are finding are fixed some great games as well....ive lost interest in talking or documenting this stuff but its running on my system and my friends and has been for ages.... other so called helpers say they are fixing stuff and are going to work on it....but for me it was a 10min job and alot of people dont like that I did it in that time when they said it couldnt be done...so I just havent told or disscussed this stuff...theres still alot of stuff you guys havent found about yet but in time im sure you will alot more...for extra ram/cpu builds as well

midway core is done 90percent just need to isert it sometime...not sure about primal rage ive never looked into it

WARNING!!! RANT ALERT : PS I wont be going into xbmc community stuff they would hate some of the petty minded stuff that is here these days....im already in places you dont know about and I hide my avatars to keep the few small minded people that think im a newbe away..... its best this way to stay sep and sep avatars for projects.....if people dont understand then they miss the obvious....and no real need to explain.... I would have liked thing diff but its obvious to me a few spoil many things that haven been happening and have happened... WARNING!!! RANT ALERT : eg like N64 xmv support would take 5mins to add...and about an hour to patch across with all the options of CoinOPS...eg all music / xmv track setup options.... but I leave it to them normally within a few years it may get in...but luckly people release something every year or so and not quickly all the time adding new stuff lol little dig I guess WARNING!!! RANT ALERT : But its sad to see people with no skills telling people they can add stuff...someone promised...he will do his own mame for lightgun...fix lightgun...all this kind of stuff and its a simple fix that makes me smile but im still waiting on the day he actually learns to do something for himself and stops telling me I dont know what im doing...

PS please tell the new guy at xbox scene to come here we can help him....he needs CoinOPS Showrcase or wait a few weeks and grab CoinOPS Showroom as it will expand on it....they wont help him with stuff like this and its easy as if he finds out...I dont belong there.....tell him to join here and ill help him including the console stuff all renamed stuff like that peace....

it will play all media and run at 60 frames a second...no please wait stuff or any of that stuff...no memory leaks and no clutter....same thoughts as CoinOPS expanded Is it still going to have mythtv support=No idea as ive never used it or know how to.... Video=YES library mode=Maybe but I think its a bad idea it will scrapper nfos though and support fanart in filemodes for everything Music=YES upnp=Maybe samba=YES file manager=YES basically this will run everything I use the xbox for...I also might intergrate DVD2xbox as ive done it but deciding if its just clutter I want a pretty smooth interface to look at pics...play music....play and video...play xbox games....play arcades...play selected good emulators in one interface/dash and make it mum friendly and ive done that design wise now its just working out what is clutter and what isnt and pretting it up a bit....ive got the frame rate to 2 times that of the current xbmc and also reduced the mem to half....now everything runs silky smooth as the current svn is really mem intensive and really cpu intensive that was my main concern to sort out....and thats done everything is being redone like settings etc give my mum friendly design....never crash no bugs approach...it will be designed with the principle of a smooth gui and a simple launcher of media...arcades/consoles...xbox games ... ill be removing all the bloat I can from xbmc which is great on PC but the xbox/a console in front of the kids and tv should be easy pretty and simple...bug free and smooth...thats my goal and in BETA its all ready exactly that

128 megs will make no difference..the speed will be crippled...the 1gig speedy cpu ones will do this stuff no worries runtime im well on my way way to getting xbmc...coinops and cores all together...im just doing the gui now....and debugging it...its an old snap shot of xbmc though a very stable and very fast one....as these to where my concern...the new build is a mem hog and is buggy as so its not where im starting this....but phils seen real world photos of it going as he asked for specific things so saw it specifically going....

CBA skin above can you see any difference in whats happening? a picture tells a 1000s words. Make you your own mind if you can see it then its not worth talking about my end make up your mind if I want cba help and if I should listen to his advice....or if me and the people im with should just think hes a small fish and should just do small mods and stay out of this stuff as we do think

all are way better than xtras.... all 640x480 instead of alot at 320x240 etc in xtras yeah you proved it ... everyone laughed and couldnt see the diff link to the thread so we can laugh at you again cba...my stuff fantanstic lol I cant tell the difference thread check it your selves both are out ... ive tried xtras from rx stuff so no as stated many times I cant use them its such a mixed bag some are good some are rubbish also cropping is silly .... lots of issues with it so thats why its sorted in showcase...no black bars etc...no low res rubbish...no pauses before playing game intros etc.... Q1 = its done and was done 1 year ago for every game (12000 titles) Q2 = yes Q3 = not sure as im very limited on bandwidth hopefully in next month or so.... also just use default skin and ask a question about how to change x.....specific questions about the skin... but im pressing on with something that is much more skinable than anything in any other emulator and as phil saw yesterday its all ready usable and running

it would be neat to see this for all arcade games... imagine having clean new ones and dirty ones like the ones you see at 7-11. the dirty ones could have the following: tagging, ie XIV, el barto etc key marks burn marks maybe a filter that would make the tv screen having coloring issues from being punched too cracks I look at comments like above one and now think you guys are serious, when I though that stuff like cba skins where a joke, I now think people are actually serious...I must work with other people with other visions...work continues on in a new direction you have seen some screens of it....ill leave you guys up to this stuff but I must progress on a way forward, this stuff is mind numbling silly IMO so I should just ignor it and let you guys create this stuff im sure 5 people will go that rocks but it wont get any real downloads IMO and people havent proven me wrong enough for me to change my mind...its only been strengthed....I must not let the tail wag the dog... RX please tell people I had nothing to do with that coinops stuff...I know of many issues as I stated with it and 10 second source fixes....and just plain wrong info from what my build is ... please say I had nothing to do with it...I dont roll like this build thats for sure and dont want my name attached...peace

horzontal list is not supported in CoinOPS.... it is my XBMC build....it has some issues inserting into CoinOPS if smooth scrolling is needed...due to timings ill get both versions out when bandwidth allows....which is limited these days getting back to these now

ace ive done that but I dont like it as the videos are small...its easy to do as well...im going to leave you guys up to skinning and asking me how to do stuff... I am now involved back in another project for a while ...this skin stuffs bored me and its to easy...I saw others what skinnings atempts and realised that we are in different worlds to what we think it good....I honestly though his stuff was a joke but im becoming aware he takes it seriously....so ill leave this up to you guys....my new project will give the xbox a total new look and be full customisble and I have some old school friends back on it.... so will be more fun for me im sure.... so now its just feature requests but ill be on a new project for a while.....

how would you do Street Fighter Alpha 1...Alpha 2...etc they would show as Street Fight... and even worse would be Super Street Fighter X its not viable id say....but this could be skinned in the current engine or some like it in 1 hour or so both versions 15gig and 4.5 gig have screens videos(videos have audio...but disabled in options by default to background music only)...virtual memory in sd and hd done.... catagoies ...samples...keymaps...sensistivities adjusted the whole lot they use diff saves and are named diff with different icons so both can run side by side...4.5 gig can launch off disc and also can fit onto E drive or non upgraded hdd...this is the reason for it ummm no standalone planned on these versions as yet but im sure ill get back to that when new features are added

I agree.... in which case I have CoinOPS X = 4.5 gig version done now and fully tested in sd and hd...most of the all time hits ( 450 games ) and CoinOPS ShowROOM = 15 gig version done now and fully tested in sd and hd...and pretty much all of the hits ( 1800 games ) I could release these and continue on my way with XBMC its been a year since I touched it and it was once the main thing I did so ill start a new thread soon...I might release ShowROOM and redirect my project...ill ask people soon in a vote...it will be up to them....im back in sync now at least with a fully tested version its been a while since I made the time to fully test end to end everything

cba...go away....you know I think your a fool ... from the A team in the 80s man you guys can skin this any way you like it fonts and sizes would take you 1minute to change....cos has done lots of fonts and its easy to change them and xbmc version is of course harder to skin but infinite possiblities.... RIGHT GIVE ME PHOTOSHOP MOCKUPS OF WHAT YOU WANT IN A GUI...YOU HAVE ONE WEEK...IF NOT ILL DO ONE IN A DAY.......this is easy for me...but everyone has opions...if I get more of this chatter ill stick with my build and work on features as they are less contriversal than skins....and from the other thread downloads etc ive seen never get much interest apart from the status x team who talk all day about it, and then try and tell others that its what they want...I could simulate transparency in 1 hour using the current skin engine...its as easy as it gets also feature requests now....im getting tired allready of skinning and if I see any more status x people around ill drop it as I run a diff skin from coinops anyways so it is just an altered mamedox skin for the public

the second lot was just 10 mins show at what you guys could do with the current skin engine.... the first one is just my xbmc build of 1-2 years ago and the automatic shortcut generator and if skinning turns really messy as it tends to with varying ideas about looks....I wont get into that...ive skinned my build the way I want it...what the public has is basically a nicer mamedox skin and they are free to redesign it how they see fit....just need to be warned its in old school mame alpha channels and not modern newbe friendly pngs...but photos can sepate out the alpha channels easy enough

there are people that have patched this and running it im sure they will help...and i just fixed the midway core hehehehe sorry alot more games work thought...alot and some really good ones...sengail strikers...ummm alot more and 3d stuff like tekken

cba that one was done a year ago and is currently running in XBMC at 720p...its been running for years so im not busy many would have seen this and alot more quite along time ago....just it got voted against if that happens again I wont be changing the GUI....I have it running and it doesnt suit large lists of games ...there is alot more ive done on XBMC that no ones seen...all the issues people talk about are only issues to them...lets put it that way....I can own cut files hehehehehe and xmv support is of course easy.. ill be making stuff up and showing options with a vote soon...I dont care what people want last time I wanted a full xbmc/coinops build but people wanted something else...this stuff is sitting on my hdd and I use some of it and a totaly diff mix than what you have on your xboxs peace soonish ill show you some options of a direction...and give you release options...it will be up to you guys to decide....its all done also midway core is about to be inserted its been modified now
