  1. version 2.0 then patched in fanart etc for non database....removed alot of stuff etc...as I did alot of work on xbmc I pulled the sources apart and picked what I wanted and added in things like large usb support and xmv support...dvd to xbox ripping....it was when 2.0 skin engine came out was the base code....with alot patched in from time to time
  2. I had to completely rewrite xbmc to handle fanart etc and still be lightning fast..... personally it got bloaty later on and jmarshall moved to pc and really it suffered from being sluggish and bloaty from then on as PC dev took over
  3. well most of the code in NES6502 is from iq_132 and its all over the place....nearly all xport code is tagged from PC sources.....please thank MAME and log onto there site they are the reason for these emus... its a shame you guys think you know what goes on under the hood when clearly most sources are others.... I agree xport put huge work in and is skilled....but he didnt write the stuff to start with now those people could code.... also remember ive looked at the code...I know who wrote what and if you grab sources and look at the dates and comments you can see......please research it before you jump to conclusions you will be surprised what you find in the sources if you spend the time....you may find you where asuming things..... but in the end these people tie it together and better serve people so I thank them....but really you guys are misinformed that they write this stuff from scratch.....its due to open source all of it..... It sadens me people like IQ and the mame team...people like haze get forgotten these people did the really really hard stuff....the mame team really did the non pretty stuff and man we owe them everything across all systems today....to me they are the people I think can code understand hardware and software and get the things running out of thin air......magic those people are.... but once again cheers to other coders that helped link the sources write a bit of it them selves....vision it the way they want it and bring Mame etc projects to the platforms in usable ways....   4. yes its due to running larger catver.ini (if you put it back to r5 and rescanned the games it would return to same speed it is the catver.ini file and the amount of games not the xbes)..... each version gets larger delete all the names out this and it will run as it used to....im adding 1000s more games to catgories nothing to do with the emu its due to the support files and documenation I just tagged all the games correctly the orig one had 50 games I now have over 2500 tiltes tagged....dont ever listen to people that dont know what they are talking about eg console cores or games causing slow load times....try this button and you will see cores have nothing to do with these issues. I am now well aware of the issue and everything that can be done to stop this and limit it...it would have got slower and slower with more roms and more correct catagories and if you taged everything correctly and added massive games you would have had the same issue.....from day one.... anyways if you have CoinOPS Inferno R2 this issue is fixed...and required fixing of org code to do it...you guys can discuss it anyway you want...I know the exactly the reasons behind this stuff now... so no offense im moving forward....I am comfortble I understand the issue more than anyone else on the planet and have spent my time to fix it for you guys....just be pleased dballs spent an hour or two of his time to work with me and clean this issue up... cheers dballs Im sorry people tell you quotes like ..... he just can't admit that its because he is launching all those other emulators. it does pain me to see people that have no idea helping you....as you saw in 5mins or so I had nailed the issue on your xbox....I didnt guess I tested it properly and adjusted the code to proform tests for me....im sorry for this stuff you seemed really great , and helped considerably....you have seen first hand that I know what im talking about....I wish others would presume since I wrote alot of it I understand it better than they do....although common sense.....its missed at times.....it hurts you guys more than it hurts me....it never effected me or else I would have fixed it Peace all lets move forward now.....its solved and I may tweak it a little in the future to offer a bit more stuff.....ill talk to dballs as I had some ideas about optomising this a little more to allow some of the features back again when tracking is disabled....plus ill change the name so it doesnt say slow Harddrives as people think they are fast and its just one part of the hdd process thats is slow....anyways enough on this from me.....its in hand

SLOWDOWN ISSUE its on RX build and as it offered alot more roms would have been felt.....the issue it isnt fixed in his release(which was an old build of mine) like it is on mine... ive never seen the issue jso just need 10mins of someone that had the problems time....thanks to dballs to spend the time it was easy to find but I needed to have access to the issue...I loved the way people sent hours trying to find this and didnt come to someone that can understand the code...they had no chance as I told them the way they where trying to fault find....anyways all fixed and this is the only version without this issue of mame on the xbox the issue has been here forever...all builds had this issue so swapping back to any build in the past would make no difference the now changed code was there from mameox days if you have alot of games...and alot of catagories it saves these and updates the times played etc on each game boot....most hdd have no issue with this some do though....so this came about when people started using CoinOPS for so many more games than before as the fault has alwasy been there....its great to see how much this is being used and how many games people are running must be over 1500 games to get this issue... Thanks to dballs he worked with me as he had the issue and within 10mins I had found the issue and where it lied...we had to spend a few hours of our time to make this automatic and as user friendly as possible so thanks dballs for your time....I know now for anyone from any build if they want to run mass games CoinOPS Inferno R2 onwards are the builds for you if not you will suffer slow load times on some hdd and esp on SATA converter drives by looks

  8. **** CoinOPS Inferno R2 ******** Released Mortal Kombat 2 sound levels fixed Killer Instinct 1 runs fast now Killer Instinct 2 runs fast now added Donkey Kong 2 Jumpman Returns (dkongx and dkongx11) added an option for slow hard drives to disable the info saving so it doesnt take along time to boot games...note this disables saving of favorite changes or times played changes fixed all console games fatx naming so they are 38 characters or less added more supported console games like NES Blade Buster ....updated the Console games folder added a list of all supported arcade games like the console games into the readme folder Updated the readme to help more lots of other little tweaks and fixs

  18. just to let people know depending on a question just asked...ill be stepping up and asking for some rights to remove stuff and maybe even rights to ban people from Gamecop ive never wanted to do this but its become nessary...one or two want to spoil things for everyone......it would be easyer just to remove there posts and remove them from posting....theres allways one that wants to spoil peoples fun and make cracking down on everyone harder...I wish these things in life never happened.....I wonder if waal really is in control? time will tell

  20. OK guys how do you want the release structured??? eg one with new stuff added and fixes every 2 weeks? or 2 months? or 2 days? ill try and remember the ini for a path setting at some time.... maybe I could just add it to the GUI? defaults to D:/roms so you can configure it
  21. ill release a pack with R2 im adding some fixes in people want and some more game support people wants R1 was to see if people would use this stuff and then ill optomise it and this has been going well....if you want to beta test a midway set ill let you if you are on MSN?
  22. ill look at doing an option to set path for consoles....eg SMB://blah blah or DVD path.... its on a to do list but really as ive said this todo list isnt controlled alot of this stuff just needs to be planned in for a night of work then its in forever...at present im fix games for myself

Ok guys those where easy to fix please setup a team to manage a list of what needs doing...this stuff is spread from here to africa and im not that good to track it all I need tracking for games wanted and fixs needed...this is up to you guys once again.....im doing all the ones I notice or remember....
