  2. well i gave it to you......... once. Rastan X has it for sure he asked after last build, think strike grabbed it last time as well ask them for it they are on from time to time..... I have no issues with you 2 handing it over posting it or setting it up on sourceforge turn it into a buggy mess I dont care, ill release a source soon in a usable form of some kind and Ill concentrate on my new project. Releasing stuff publically is a mess and keeping everyone happy is silly......reading endless threads of my release should speak for itself and if it doesnt well I dont know what to say Im offically out of CoinOPS public releases now.....
  3. its all going on my drive now..... I just want to tidy it up and think about how to release it... I want to do a once over on the graphics to the standard in screenshots at present its a liitle diff. So im deciding on how to do my final push into XBMC / EMU interface for the xbox. Its alot diff from xbmc standard much simpler
  4. what im saying is leave me alone I know what im doing, im doing alot of stuff in the background and im only one guy........ it is a patched xbmc as stated, its good to see your picking me up on this stuff it leans a great hand for things but with all the help its a shame I go it alone as I know you could lean alot of support, from previous statements you seem to know whats what. Ive release tonnes of sources and what came out of it nothing ever I mean ever, out of at least 20 times I gave it to people. It wastes my time when I could be completing a list of endless tasks. there will be a thread soon as there was a year ago with what people want there emu to run like, there are 2 options really pretty or really functional thats why people got coinops the way it is (they choose functional) I use xbmc engine alot of the time for my build as I prefer it to be pretty.

  6. Sorry I understand to assign it back press A a few times.......eg set it a few times and it will return to default after 2 times using the same button as a map. So press A to remap select it as A. press A to remap again and select A this will return it to the default key I cant get that site to work.....
  7. what game? sevice mode is set to button 9 by default.... would need a keyboard to enter it

I only saw a preview screen on a thread of your skin, I havent looked at it in real life. Im sure its ok but I have other things I wish to achieve Anyways if I havent got this thing out soon(a week or so) ill be pulling stuff apart for R3 onwards ill go....... a lone crusader in a murderous world full of wolves and sharks beware bp beware there out there and watching also since your talking skinning ill show a little of the new project. Zip files get added as FBA games from a folder and are automatically added to a list (they need zipname.jpg as the art and zipname-fanart.jpg as the fanart)... its using an old xbmc skin engine 2.0. (2nd pic is what happens when you dont touch things for 5 seconds) and yes it will launch more than FBA roms as you can see

[cba.gy] just maybe consider it for a future release (talking about skinning) so this is an example of a false statement [bp]when asked what feature you want in a thread setup for this stuff the result for you on skin stuff and a big reason why it isnt looked at RESULTS !!!!!   11. the skins more unlocked than FBA and can be altered most ways (the skin ive seen for FBA by you can be done with ease). No offense your skin looks like its been developed by a 5 year old but reskin it with liitle previews to do this you can plug in an old skin like mamedox 128 in or mamedox 1.1 they are alot closer to your FBA and wont be to hard to mod. cba you are talking about stuff that has nothing to do with thread at all once again, and to make it worse its poorly researched and false in many parts (i havent locked the skin ever in anyway ever ill repeat ever), also you are talking about future stuff without seeing the one im trying to put out that has more skin funtions for the new features. Start your own threads on topics that are off topic, if it gains popularity others including myself will look at it for sure
  12. I need a releaser really PM me if you want to release Release 2. You need to have MSN ive fully tested it now and its less buggy than ignite which was really good. And yes im working on Final Burn IGNITE it will be a few months and any bugs ill squash if I can (the button one and 720p ones will be easy enough) the GUI isnt safe at all at present and people will complain as things will change like they did in CoinOPS but the goal is to take the best out and improve the use of it and remove or hide clutter that isnt that usefull. For now CoinOPS Ignite R2 needs to be released..... my other Projects will be anounched when the dust has settled for this. Ive got alot of work behind the scenes for Ignite that isnt bug free yet Video Previews (have code needs to go in) Fix Lightgun (need help I dont have lightgun) Fix Trackball (have code needs to go in) Commandline Fixup (have code) Autofire speed options (have code and makes it better I guess but harder interface and less user friendly...so I removed) Only allow 1 credit per x mins (have code didnt like it myself) Redoing source to xbox standard so you dont have to compile parts for PC and parts for xbox so its like other EMUs(I did this to save me time as I dev on PC alot) More user friendly sorting (need ideas) Aspect ratio stuff (have code but cant make it user friendly and give all options so in the end was clutter 2 options stayed to correct for widescreen at present) ini global keymapping (have code needs inseting) and will be put on hold for my new project for a while. If there are people with real skills that want to help Ignite along contact me or else some features like video previews(got code needs inserting), midway roll back (half way in) will be pending for a while. Also alot of source changes to fix games will be waiting
  13. I think your attitude is pathetic Kenshiro I am mainly redoing the GUI I have no interest in updating the NeoGeo Dats at all or ever if the main games work. Im just saying what im currently working on and dont mean to offend you at all. I dont put my name on my build as I dont care about that stuff. And I dont use any of your source at all and will promise that I dont have any intentions to use any at present, im using 1.28 as its stable ( I told you that before no offense ). Also I said id give you the source. Dont you want any other releases??? im doing this for me mainly and if others want it they can have it....thats what I think. I wont be updating the dats of CPS2 or NeoGeo if the games work in 1.28 OK so you will allways and forever have later dats. I like my build to have little to no bugs in so I wont release stuff thats isnt right myself and thats mainly due to I dont really want to support it much. Maybe people just want your build thats fine by me......ill keep on doing stuff it doesnt need to be used I have alot of stuff ive done no one has or has used and is mainly for myself I have never commented on your work yet you guys feel free to comment about my work all the time. Ive delt with that for years and years and im still slowly curning stuff out and believe it or not im not following at all what your doing I have my own vision for FBA for myself. If my build is liked ill then listen to people and what they like about other builds and maybe patch it in but thats much later and pretty much how CoinOPS worked

Just rethinking the way it works like I did with Coinops plus fixing stuff thats badly done like 720P (if you use 720P option in CoinOPS you should see its better handled and automatic) Ill add a few drivers maybe and of course reskin it and add any skinning elements needed to do this to the way I want it. Ill make sure it works with as few bugs as I can make it.
  15. Just find a full release It will save you a tonne of work and everything is tested and retested..... Ive finished 300 game patch into R2. Im currently updating alot of Dats for coinops and working on my own FBA project... sp ill be away from this for a while

  17. well it has an option that can be set if game rotation is on, for Autorotate Topdown Shooters only. So pacman etc isnt rotated only games like raiden fighters 2 2000
  18. you can change the picture in the skin folder to whatever calibration picture you want cospefogo (2 skins now low def and hidef...the picture is backdrop-message.png make sure the dimensions of the pic are the deminsions you want the screensize to be....eg 640x480 or 1280x720 else it will be stretched to a diff aspect ratio)
  19. there is no black screen cospefogo your using an old build by looks.. there are correct widescreens aspect ratios now (also to fix aspect ratio there is alot of considerations needed that would have to be discussed like 1280p 4x3 16x9 all differ most games have there own correction in them I can sort all this stuff out and understand the code..... but to suit everyone will require 4-5 settings and this is clutter to me at present) and im not asking for new features at present................. I will do in the future but at the moment im in the tiding phase so its feature locked for now
  20. the heat is off :)im sorry im not in agreement with your ideas in current form... also no offense again but I wasnt asking for new ideas on this thread as im sure your aware for this. The reason is, feature discussions take solid hearts and alot of battling out the fineprint, and that takes alot of effort on everyones part....as no 2 people are the same. Its best handled on MSN out of the publics way as there will allways be a bit of debating. This has been happening with people in the background over the last month. I have set up threads with clear goals like this one asking specific questions in the hope to find out stuff so I can work with a few people in the background on specifics. the questions are DO people want to find new roms for games? Are there any features in any mame apart from some game speed issues that people use another mame on xbox for? PS the ideas arnt in other EMUs im aware of, done the way ive done them (the features are but they are done quite alot diff GUI wise). If you name any EMU with autofire, screen rotation, favs the way ive done it let me know it would be great to think someone else thought it should be done that way PS All builds from now will be CoinOPS IGNITE Release xx is due to complaints about not knowing what version is the latetest etc ........ something I listened to is in the title If someone wants to help out then they need to ask to talk away from the public as they dont want to here this stuff and it get personal on a public forum and doesnt get so on a private debate. STF worked this way and it went fast and mostly smoothly.... hes missed although theres a feature in there for him
  21. it plays from dvd ok missing a few options.... just run the xbe from the dvd with the intial ini and it will find the roms on the dvd if its in the same directory under the xbe
  22. sure what you recommend isnt that well thought out thats all.... what if you dont want it sorted by genre (most dont) as this requires the games are tagged correctly for starters. Also dpad is slow scroll and has no speed control like the triggers (this is why left/right fast jumps and not thumbs) Im not sure of your knowledge of the EMU and what you are asking for is a step back... ask stf if I added his suggestions and how quickly and how often I did it? I added fum option of screen rotation after long thinking about it (also its improved in release 2 it has an option to only AutoRotate Topdown Shooters) I added gavins autofire fire requests after thinking about it (new semi auto and fully auto with easy control). So you are wrong ill add them when they are properly thought out and not before that. I also added alot of options back with a new Basic / Advanced switch now but not untill it was thought out. Added favs, quick fav selection but only when it was thought out. Added sound enabling disabling for people but only when thought out and auto. Are you right...............ummmmmmm do you want more examples? could I add the stuff in earlier the answer is yes.... ive also stated many times it needs to be to my vision and many people take stuff personally Im just saying no for now untill its thought out alot of the time and im quite willing to talk about stuff.... alot of the time it at least is in my head and yes you will have to convince me that its in my vision as I have to do the work...if not send me a patch or prove you can do it and ill allow that for sure. If I did what people asked for I would have a build like HK (very PC like and well coded) but I dont want this and never had as I personally dont really like it.
  23. it has this now change to sort by type with back button or press Red to do it.... then left/right on dpad will jump game types. No offense but Read the Help and Features as it has alot you probably dont know about allready running for quick easy finding of the game you want

  25. Dont know any Neo Geo games that dont work at full speed or have any issues?
