NeoGeo runs on CoinOPS as good as FBAxxx (except for world hereo's series has some slowdown) CPS2 runs on CoinOPS as good as FBAxxx (except for the very latest like XMVSF and some levels of SFA3 like the final stage....this is the reason ill be fixing FBAxxx as I love SFA3 and want it as good as it can be). But it looks like the reason of everyone is what I expected really.... I still say FBAxxx is a mess GUI wise but the bones of it are so good it just needs polishing (like the 720p settings are silly why not make it auto detect the skin size) anyways keep thoughts going I am listening.

the view sizes and how they work lists thumbpanel etc can be skinned with ease by other users that can skin xbmc but the reason for the design I came up with is this skin is FBA doesnt have to many unique games 100 or so good games where Coinops has 1000s (so this type of laucnher you really need sorting....like CoinOPS has). but anyways need to know peoples thoughts on what they want to see Ive thought about all 3 and done alot of background work on all 3 I have to pick one and tidy it up so this will help my decision....... keep the thread going at some point ill look to see the results and make some decisions

well if you guys released R2 it hasonly rotate topdown shooter...

Clutter is why I dont add moves. Filters are easy to add but not optimsed well so it will slow down CoinOPS games alot. Final burn alpha for me is about CPS2 and NeoGeo Fighting games and is heavly optimised for this and if I work on ill make it for them. Moves is good for that Ice CoinOPS for old timers has 100s and 100s of great games that dont work on FBA and that is a real big plus to CoinOPS real big, and can never be underestimated Also stuff like autofire the way its done will die in FBA under my watch as you cant change weapons and you have to turn it on/off in a menu...... so be prepared for this stuff if I do FBA but I take your points Need to know dark what is better or worse really not the other stuff that will come with my new direction at present this is to find out why you would use one or the other?. Can you guys give me a list of your top 10 favorite arcade games... im guessing if you like fighters you will like fba if you like old school it will be CoinOPS for sure...just a guess and its why the threads here

code is way to buggy for what it offers.... ill add in games added in proper FBA like powerdrift and Gforce 2 if I can but wont alter stuff thats working what does it bring in the way of extras ice ive never loaded it as everyone says its buggy. ? if its latest rom set you can forget me ever touching it as I dont want to reinvent the wheel

works perfect in CoinOPS Ignite now in 720P but it would be fixed for sure

**** Stay on Topic Please Rant is another thread **** My thoughts please feel free to set me wrong im new to FBA Why CoinOPS is better than FBA 1) Lot more games to choose from 2) Interface is cleaner 3) Easier Autofire and 2 types 4) CoinOPS doesnt have the same amount of bugs 5) 720p support is better as well as its settings 6) Sorting Roms is better in nearly ever way 7) Hi Scores Why FBA is better than CoinOPS 1) Large games load faster 2) Large CPS2 games play at perfect frame and dont have little glitchs 3) Easier keymapping 4) Graphics filters are more varied and work at a better framerate 5) Has some features like moves,saves etc setup for later more complicated games 6) because theres less games it makes choice simpler and simpifies the GUI 7) Can fast forward games eaisly (can do on CoinOPS as well but not as easy)

well first off this will run as an emu or a dash...... and you can use the xbmc features or not. Anyway threads soon with specific questions..... the answers to them will determine the build

ive been using it for about 18months on all my xboxs since I asked if people wanted this or coinops I continued on Coinops now im getting back to this project......... anyways more threads in about 10 hours on this stuff

please post in your own threads why do people come to post stuff to me about random stuff that doesnt concern me and wonder why im bitchy for the last time please create your own threads ill respect them and so will others id say. ha ha do it yourself ice this isnt for you new thread tommorrow this one im finished with.... I wont be listening to a few people on my new thread sorry they know why and they know who they are, they want to cause issues. You wanted to cause troubles and have your own ideas stick with them you will prove me wrong im sure........ im sure everyone will follow you. im using shortcuts at present but ill get it to autoadd them and alter the FBAsource to more intergrate being launched from xbmc.... right now ive stripped xbmc to be very simple and have a build that is simple to use running now..... if I go this way it will be even simpler than the current build im running i havent seen your cover flow idea....... does it look better? can you post a screenshot , what base xbmc and base skin are you using?

I could care less about skins people can release what ever they want ive added skin elements not removed skin elements...... so it has more functional stuff not less. It up to you guys to do that there has been a few and ive never tried to stop them or anything it up to you guys ill remove any bugs from my simple skin thats all I do really

thats what was altered from 1.1 sources you are right on all your observations. The mame team must have been hunting me down they would love to know how I put there speed hacks that they took out back in and how I inserted some other sources from released builds and how I updated a cpp from a .84 to a .89 one. After they see this they may want to recruit me........... man oh man im such a bad boy for not documenting and releasing 30 revision out of date code and bug fixing instead... anyways straightness out all the issues with the mame team and post them the sources and give my aplogies to them I didnt mean to upset them so much with my renagade styles and shut them out of the game hold back my knoweldge and hold the future of mame up PS with a tweak of the driver raiden Jet will play kenshiro theres a little slow down at times and you have to wait for a stupid timer at the start...not sure how to remove that

All you guys that said you could add drivers and stuff and take it further please do Kenshiro you are one id love to see power drift added and night slashers and osman please that would rock. I can help you with midway and double dragon a few others im alot of the way there and even finished on quite a few but please it must be doccument and released correctly as id hate to see it not handled correctly and the midway driver fix needs alot of documentation on how to insert .70 code into .84 code when the inputs changed so much You guys can now put your money where your mouth is I wont update mame publically and ill give you guys a time to add all your stuff in and turn it into a real project handled correct so you guys can nail the bugs down and truely make it work right WARNING!!! On a serious note its been cool it actually has been and I truely hope someone does one day update the drivers properly and stf if you I can sort you out with some stuff thats specially for you.... you will like it im sure, Ignite motivation came alot from you and a few things you said played on my mind so I thought them though then fixed them.

not at all dont see why I would it was only the last release where I changed any line of mame code ever before that it was mamedox 1.1 drivers so all that rubbish was just rubbish also I just used there cpp unedited apart from the keymap code the mame side was left untouched and the GUI was altered only...... I would have love to have talked to them. Kensho log onto msn and ill gice it to you pc styles it can be inseted into xbox xbe as they run apart from each other you can post it for me.
