  1. OK sorry BP, impossible to contact you anymore except here, impossible to upload the cfg... (15 mn to be able to post here). Terrible weather right now and internet is down. I'll do it tomorrow. It's quite late in France I just quit. :)

  2. Hi everyone, I didn't see I could introduce myself in a polite way before, sorry.

I'm stf. I'm from an "old" generation of gamers (Oric Atmos, Amstrad CPC, Amiga...).

I've been passionned by videogames for a long time, also because I worked 15 years as a manager of a videogames store in France. I discovered mame in 2001 and have never stopped updating it, and now follows every emulation's work in progress.

I still have hardware in my home like Amiga, 2 Xbox, Xbox360, PS3, Euro Saturn, Jap Saturn (180 original games), jap Dreamcast, euro PS2, jap white PS2, PSP, NDS, Wii, Euro PSOne, Jap Playstation, 1 PC online, 1 PC offline (advantage of working in a shop).

I discovered this site recently and it seems to be the starting point of a lot of enjoyable projects. I like to contribute (I'm unfortunately not a coder) and actually spend time with BP online to bring help.

This site is international and is a very good gamer's experience as a very good human experience too. :( .

  3. CoinOPS IGNITE has been Released!

    Currunt version is: CoinOPS_Ignite_Beta4_V1.0

If anyone would like a copy of the beta for testing or just to leave a comment on what you think about the new CoinOPS IGNITE.. You can contact me or stf for more info.

    -Peace

I just wanted to appear here to be easy to contact :(

  4. I won't ask for mail addresses anymore (too much time and doesn't respect your anonymity) but just give links where Hellsfury uploads when it's done (anyway no link before BP is satisfied with is work and allow us, BP really cares about his options, quality, and wants emulation being easy for beginners).

Some asked me a lot of questions today and I enjoyed to answer them. There are a lot of great members to ask for help too (remember I'm a newbie poster :) ).

  5. Answer to PMs: I don't know if HellsFury has uploaded the beta 3, I can of course send it by mail if you give me addresses or give a link for beta 1.

Beta 3 is OK with autofire (tested with 4 pads connected) and can be sent by mail till Hellsfury gives me a new link :) . Rotate keys can be disable manually in mameox.ini (TDATA/babe0001) for tate monitors.

  6. Hi BP ! I'll give you a sensivity values used in analog games by mail (lightgun or paddle), those values will be for digital directions (much netter). But thoses settings reset when the we quit the game. I don't know if it can be saved. But we can make a value listing.

Cool for disabling autofire (if my wife presses it...), and allow choice for rotate keys.

Cool for the Sync option we've talked about.

  7. Sorry but for a reason I don't know I can't quote and edit my own posts. I must go into the reply page to read the last posts !!!

BP, analog controls settings because gun games, block games (arkanoid), rotate guns (ikari) are too sensible by defaut. Operation 3, arkanoid returns, and many more are just unplayable with default sensivity, so I use to set the lightgun x&y sensivity, the paddle x sensivity, etc... and this must be done everytime I want to play those games !

(For lightgun I use only digital commands because the analog stick doesn't go to the screen's corners).

To spynix (wrote really good french), strike, and all you friends, XxHellsFuryxX should be the man being able to give a link for the public beta to everyone (please contact me HF).

  8. Great work !!! Some games also run really faster: gunbird2, Cyvern, Metamoquester (...) have changed so much compaired to CoinOps Gold and are now totally enjoyable. Autofire works perfectly, so does screen rotation ! With all the new features, the updated menu system, 720p and BP's clean code, this emu becomes a reference :thumbsup1: .

  9. (manual quote): "there are issues with thstuff you sent me !"

All the games were tested with preIgnite and ran right. For the "no good dump known" games (64street, stratof, bball, arkanoid2, madgear, cookbib2...), I just created a dummy file with the right name & hexadecimal size, and placed it into the zip.

<_< ... maybe you mean the files I sent arrived buggy ? Just PM me for the hours you can be found on msn (I'm in France and I'll check the clock difference between us two :thumbsup1: )

  10. Hey fum, I have 46 inch :thumbsup1: !

Hi BP, no problem, but you first may update your list according to all the pics & list I already sent you (not to do the same "work" twice) because in your private site "BP/stuff" the pics are still the same as they were on 10/29/08.

Or maybe just send me your last catver.ini so I can see what you already did <_< .

  11. Kenshiro, have you noticed some raster issues in Riding Hero, and the sidekicks ?

Huh? :) Can you take a screenshot please? Can you reproduce that on FBA (pc version)?

To describe (sorry no picture): The road in Riding Hero is always straight (no curve) with a little part of the road in the sky, In SSidekick series the supporters disappear and the grass is deformed "in real time" on top of the playground.

Neo Turf: No "3D" effect for the ground. (meme probleme que pour Riding Hero en fait)

Trash Rally: glitches when the car jump.

(I'm still using your beta released on 12/22/08).

The problems aren't seen in the PC version 0.2.96.99 (I gave a try).

Thoses problems already existed in FBAxxx Pro128 (I had to use an older version for a few Neo Geo games with problems).
