    you know what? you are using an old chip, a magic 2, have you checked if your chip was on or off?, i mean, if you press the on button for about 6 or 8 secnds the you´ll be turning on or off your chip. Meybe it could be the cd you are using, i was recommended to use Ritek for dvds and memorex for cds. you check that out, besides, sony makes their consoles cheap so people have to buy another one, that was said about a year ago by the creator of Metal gear, forgot his name.

    DC++ i´ve heard of it b4, isn´t that the one you connect to other peoples hdd in a channel/hub?, i used one b4 but i wasn´t dc++ but i didn´t like because most of the times i had to ask someone to open a port to download the file and the highest speed i got it was 6 kb/s, i have broadband.

    I guess this can be ask, right?

     

    I use normally the newsgroup (newsbin pro) amazing speed and almost always i can find everything (i hate when they purge some files), also i use bittorrents at suprnova, it is my 2nd choice always. I used b4 overnet, emule and imesh but i got tired of waiting to download, never like kazaa too many virus.

    Comedy: Seinfeld, Seinfeld, Seinfeld, Seinfeld; M*A*S*H; Taxi; Are You Being Served?; Keeping Up Appearances; Waiting for God; Faulty Towers; Seinfeld; Frasier (sometimes); Seinfeld.

     

    LancerX, Keeping Up Appearances is a hilarious britcom about a woman obsessed with having the perfect image towards her so called friends. She's kind of like a British Martha Stewart. And its spelled Seinfeld, not Seingfield.  :lol:

     

    Drama: Don't watch TV for drama. That's what movies are for.

     

    Action: Don't watch TV for that either. Movies are way better.

     

    Sci Fi: Dr. Who when I was young; X-Files (some of it); Red Dwarf...but that should be under comedy.

     

    Cartoons:: Looney Toons; Animaniacs; The Simpsons; Family Guy; Futurama; The Critic; Sea Lab 2021

     

    As you can see...I mostly just watch comedy.

    Board specs

     

    Plain and simple........GENERIC END USER JUNK!

    This puppy has integrated graphics, meaning you can't plop your own video card in there.

    It's only got 3 PCI slots (Though depending on your needs this may not be a problem)

    Integrated audio, though you can disable it, is always some cheap CRAP and even disabling it can prove to be difficult sometimes (Often it just doesn't seem to want to disable fully, or insists on causing other issues when you do)

     

    Plus, Intel boards although very stable and good boards, don't give you much control over what you can do with your system. Wanna overclock? FORGET ABOUT IT!

     

    I recommend  this board, or a similar variant depending on your needs.

    You know what Cinder? It happens that i already bought this board, a friend of mine who knows about pc, as you guys, told me it was a good one so we built the pc, a p4, 2.8Ghz, 512ddram etc etc etc, but when i using winxp sometimes the OS go slow, for example, the other days i wanted to erase a 300mb file and it took it almost 6 mints to do it, while in my old pc (dell 933) only took seconds to do it, i´ve just reinstall xp it a couple of time and a find it not that fast as i thought, meybe it is just me, but in comparisson with my old pc some aps runs even slower and in both i have the same vers. of xp.

    Unless you are going to pay me, there is no way in HELL I'm compiling a list of all the games I have. Just my retail games for PC alone would be a chore (About 350), let alone all the "backups" I have for DC/PC and other consoles.

    No kidding. I only did half of my PSX and PC collection. I still own a lot of old PC games that will take a long time to find them :/

    Yea, theres way too many to count, exspecially on PC. I could list all my console games I guess, but it would take too long to get all the PC games I have collected or got from my brother over the years.

    Well, if you think about it, it is also good for archiving purposes. You can FINALLY know what games you got.

    I already know the good ones pretty much off by heart. It would take too long to do, even for my own knowledge. Hell then I'd have to dig through boxes to find old carts and even disks for Atari systems n stuff. No spank j00! :lol:

    darn.. this should have been posted a few days ago, i just building my own pc with an intel p4 motherboard and 2.8ghz proccessor with 512 ddram. i have always heard about amd and how they owned intel once but i´ve never thought that it was that good, but most people told me to buy pentium instead of amd, i hope i did the right thing.

    well thats for good reaon since it was nintendo's dumb decision to stick with carts when cds were the better choice in which it lost a lot of support and squaresoft being the biggest hit to them (can you imagine a 17 cart version of ff7 :lol: )

     

    as for dc vs ps2, it actually lost to ps1 and not ps2 :-D

    what were they thinking when they were making the n64..... i remember when sega released the 16 bit machine, genesis, and nintendo said they will stick to 8 bits then realised their mistake and release the almighty glorious snes :P, well a i guess nintendo is all about mistakes and now it´s too late, i was hopping that for this gen their console was going tb amazing, what joke, better than n64 but still behind the other two, i guess sony and ms are sitting and laughing of nintendo.

    I played the jap. vers. a month ago and i didn´t like too much. of course, i didn´t understand anything at all, but you get the idea, i really liked the first part, the second was ok, the puzles was better developed, i don´t like too much the idea of the french actor as one of the main characters, but when the usa vers. is released i´ll give it a try.

    It´s true that pc gaming can be better than consoles but i prefer consoles because i can lay in my bed with a 32¨ tv, 6.1 surround and feel my self more confortable than behind a pc, when i say that pc gaming is better is just cause you just can upgrade ur video card a have a great looking game but i´m not willing to spend such money for a game, then have tol buy some another new card because of a new game, besides, playing console online is becoming popular is just matter of time.
