Charting Uncharted 2 on Hard.
Have fun on crushing mode after hard. I'm sure you'll enjoy the last boss fight as much as I did.
Yeah, the pool is hard, i still did not managed to get break-ace on it :/ I am leaving the mini-games for the last part . Currently concentrating on those substories 1st. 2 more substories to go, clear all hitmen missions, clear all lockers, clear all dining, 7 heat moves to go
Substories are fun but I think Sega has gone way over their head by making you clear up to the hardest difficulties of all the mini-games. I think I'm gonna be throwing shit around if I can't plat because of the gay mini-games.

Yakuza 3. At 80% completion now. Mini games to go and 3 substories to complete, plus coliseum battles, tag matches and Ex-HARD mode to go to get platinum
Man.. I hate planning ahead but I might need your help for the plat. I fuckin hate these mini-games, it's prolly the platinum killer, I don't mind ex-mode but damn.. I barely got through a pool game last time I played it and that was hard. Fuck this platinum.

I'm trying out RDR getting the jist of it. In the midst of replaying Dream C Club but also continue playing Touhou, and Agarest.

It's just the "been there done that" feeling I hate. No hard feelings for change, but I hate SF4 for other reasons, game is very original and what help elevate the fighting game scene but I hate the game for what it is.

Because I usually scared of the players with red connections or yellow since they are the ones with obnoxious win ratio I seen on ranking so yeah I don't like treading chicken online as I never play able to get into a game with folks with more than a red bar. I think U.S. gave up on tekken but I still see japan, other countries would still played this online like it's crack. I don't like T6 and but I do like T6 Force Mode, it's one of the reason I came back over and over; rpg like elements, farming, etc.

Yeah, I am still in Malaysia. But moving to Beijing, China in end Aug. Fingers crossed if they have better connection (although I doubt it).Don't forget Wizard as well. We loved TForce mode so much that we ignored the main game all together, because let's be honest here. They made something good and addictive with campaign unlike previous TForce mode *cough*devil within, T5, T4. LSD bro, count me in for some coop TForce cuz I'll still play it regardless of already owning the T6 plat (too easy).

Report from the field: It's like TvC but with more buttons. No joke. This is according to EG|Marn, EG|Jwong and a slew of others like Keits and Skisonic who's opinion holds more weight than yours. It feels like 2 because it's fast, but gameplay wise it's TvC on crack.
I wouldn't sleep on Doraemon, he's good (ETERNAL RIVALS, SON). Of course, he'll troll it up with the stupidest team in the game to do it, cuz that's how TSD rolls.

I have a hard time understanding how a game like MvC2 is considered better than MvC3 when more than half the game in MvC2 was composed of re-used sprites from previous games, whereas in this 3, all the characters have been rebuilt from the ground up?It's the foundation really, the game itself was a huge step from MvC, it;s not the graphics, it's the gameplay they enhanced and the massive roster that what made it stood out even despite only 10+ so characters are commonly used now whereas the other 40+ others are not part of the competitive scene selection. MvC2 was big because it's not the same as mvc, sure it has the same formula but when this game gets a huge boost and I mean chaotic changes made to the sequel, it just blown everyone up in the scene and it's been played like cracked. Now, mvc3 came. People like me expected an upgrade, a new testament that would define the series once again... and what happened? the game sort of take a step backward but took off in a different direction. Don't get me wrong, it's not the visual, I could care less but would it hurt them to make something new and not rehash TvC? that's the point I've been passing all along, the game itself might feel like mahvel to some, but for me, it's tatsunoko all over again with mahvel characters.
I'll be the first to say that when I first saw it, I would like wtf is this and no no no go back to the old marvel.Change is good and expected so I'm trying to give it a chance rather than just slam something I know nothing about.
The art direction isn't my cup of team and I really didnt care for tvc but its marvel baby so what can I say.
If marn, justin and the rest of the pros say its pretty good and like mvc2 then its good enough for me
Change is good when you make good changes, so far the changes are stupid and the direction they're going for clearly aiming for a TvC rehash. I'll give it a chance if there's a demo soon but I'm not giving in to buy it, and especially at $60USD MSRP. Never do I spent that much on a video game unless it's back in my N64 days where Zelda OOT/MM was worth that amount.

Square-Enix is one thing but I wasn't much of a huge Squaresoft/Final Fantasy series fan. Sure I played and beat almost half the series but Marvel, Street Fighter, and Tekken (T1-TTT) is what define my childhood, those are the games I take in pride of and when Crapcom decides to do stupid shit to the series I loved, I just get mad salty and my loyalty begin slipping away which you see me rant like this. Don't get me wrong, this generation of Capcom games is what ruins it for me. Capcom has been my favorite company since the day I touch Street Fighter 2, same goes with Namco with Tekken 1, but when I look back, everything Capcom been doing was great. We get great releases but now they try to seem to cater us, well the newer generation of players but somehow misses me because I knew for the fact the series has been redefined but in a more stupid way. Just like how we went from a complicated, fun game like Street Fighter 3 to a more shortcut friendly, simple, scrub mashing piece of work like Street Fighter 4.

Inky, does that fact frighten you? it's already a fact. Dated back when East Coast hype everyone up on MvC2 and it continue to spread like wildfire. It's been clarified that the majority love their Mahvel, TvC on the Evolution stream. What's there to argue? it's been around for years that the majority are blacks that's been hyping up the Mahvel scene to a point, it became super serious business that it just fell into ludicrousness.

OK, I just got into this game starting yesterday. I'm trying to recruit a 1EMU posse gang for the Playstation 3 (PSN) side only, if anyone wants to run through coop together, please respond here, and we'll add each other so we can get into it sometime later tonite or tomorrow. Me and echoman would definitely be playing this together, so if anyone wants to join us for Free Roam/DLC Coop, please let us know. Too bad it was only a weekend deal. I would of gone to watch Inception or Salt for around $8! total; weekend matinee $6 include tax + $2 food.

The truth has to be said. This is yet another failed Crapcom experiment that go against my childhood. I was a die hard MvC2 fan/player and now Crapcom decided to crush my dream with this shit. First of all, first and foremost, I like to point out the huge similarities between this game and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. When I saw gameplay footage san trailer, I knew I FUCKING KNEW what it became. A fucking mugen like project of injecting marvel characters into the core Tatsunoko vs. Capcom gameplay engine. No matter how I look at it, I see resemblance of Tatsunoko in the gameplay. The Hyper combo animation, the flashy tag in, the combo fluid animation, the air combos, everything about this just shouts a rehash Tatsunoko vs. Capcom experiment. Let's not forget the FUgly cel-shaded graphics, bears no resemblance of the colorful sprites from MvC2. Down to the last fact is that the game did not exceed my expectations when they announced it would nowhere be the roster of MvC2 (56 Characters) but that's just a small gripe. The bigger issue here is the gameplay, and it feels nothing new to me. Sure, there's new nice characters like DeadPool that finally made it as a playable fighter but it does no make up for the fact about how much ass this game was developed. The way this game made just baffles me, every nooks and cranny made me made me think this game is a next-gen Mugen project that's in the making.

In my opinion the 2 franchises are incompatible. (3d and 2d, "realistic" and Projectile, ect.) the reason CvS works so well is because they are so similar. character wise and even down to input style. 1/4 circles and charges. any SF player can figure out the basics of a SNK character within a round. And vice versa. Tekken's input style is completely different. the fighting style is completely different. just throwing characters into a new engine they weren't designed for is just asking for trouble.
SF characters have about 18 normals and 2~4 specials. Tekken characters have what... 40+ normals? and 4~8 throws.

Man it's about fucking time someone agreed with what I've been thinking ever since I saw that damn trailer. But no, echoman and many others knew this was the wet dream they been dying for. It was one of my dream game but at the time, I was too young and did not disregard the compatibility of each game and the core elements of both franchise. I stress this enough when I talked to my friends and I'll say it again.. you can't mix chicken(Tekken) with SSF4 engine, IT JUST DON'T WORK LIKE THAT. Sure, Namco x Capcom isn't a fightng game, but that worked sort of like Cross Edge and other crossover RPG games. Now here's what's been bothering me, both games are nothing alike. That's my statement and I stand by it. They are completely different fighting games; different design, controls scheme, core gameplay, music, etc.
Now how can anyone accept the fact that a game like Chicken, each char donning a moveset of 50-90 can possibly be nailed down to a limited of 6 or more? I just can't see that works. More of the fact that Chicken has always been synonymous with it's footsies into juggle games and the series has escalated with extended combos; OTG juggles, wall combos, stage collapse juggles. Let's not forget the series after T4 has always encourage you to learn juggles and the series continue to improvise on better juggles for ridiculous damage. You take a simple fighting game like Street Fighter in collaborating with a game like Chicken which is to many true fighting gamers knew the complications/complexity of mastering the game; hard learning curve for matchups, timing execution, etc is no comparison whatsoever. So now, I suppose to buy into the fact that experimenting street fighter characters which to me is a joke.
And.. what's this? a tag helper system? Rival school anyone? Really. I'm sick of these new capcom games. These experiments one after the other has been a flop for me ever since Vanilla SF4 was out. Ono is an idiot if he thinks this is what he should be working on for the next 2 years and ignore the fact that he has mentioned of a new Darkstalkers/Vampire Saviour sequel. This idea of putting two different games in is completely out of proportional and I'm just gonna be shaking my fucking head throughout this developement process.

That's the shit I had to put up with almost all my life. It's always this damn 2nd generation of grandparents/parents they know what's best for their kids. I speak on behalf of all Asians who had to put up with the same shit. Always, constant nagging and encouragement on following what they think it's good for us. The problem with Chinese parents is that they tend to be stubborn. More of the issue is that they become a nuisance and trying to bring order to our lives like most Chinese parents would forbid interracial marriage for the reason of language barrier and the future of our family tree. It's ridiculous how old generation Asians has become.

It's been a long LONG Hiatus since I last post here. I figured sooner or later, I needed to come back. Apparently, the great one (GameCop) has asked me.. no. demanded me.. NO wait.. "IMPORE" me (RDR reference) to get back what I used to do with my time and that's.. well just chill with you guys to help living things up here. Yes, I haven't done my part as "co-owner"or heck, I haven't done anything since the last decade I helped out with this site. Honestly, I don't even consider myself as any part of the 1Emu "crew." And I know, GC is still mad at me for not doing anything. But hey, life took over and I just can't help it. I'm more of a free-bird and tends to make random decisions and I have that "don't care + do what i like + <random subject>" mood that fluctuate time to time online since I'm getting too old. So yeah... I'm not gonna go through so many details or make excuses why I was gone for so long. Let's just say I'm happy with what I'm doing now and I found the time to come back because I love you guys, no homo, for keeping this community standing on it's leg(s).
Fact is, I'm always online everyday but I rarely check or lurk here. I'm just not sure why I ignored this place, maybe I'm an asshole. Maybe I was busy cockblocking Wizard (SUP!), or busy playing random epic-ness (IdolM@ster) or just being random in life. Who knows... who cares. OK, long rant is over.

It's a great deal either way. The price now is very competitive against the Wii so let see what Nintendo has to respond to this, something tells me Nintendo doesn't care but it would be nice to see a price drop the sooner the better.
Now that I think about it, theres a far less reason I need to spend an extra 200 dollers just for a black coat of paint, a 120gb which I really don't need so much unnecessary space. Elite also comes with an included HDMI cable? pffft.. still not a good enough to sweeten up the elite purchase since you can find one for so damn cheap online. 360 Arcade is a good deal for $200, way better than the old core console with no HD(fair enough), and no memory card (M$ you ass!), no HDMI port, no component cables, etc.
But that console is pretty much worthless without a harddrive. You can't save, you can't really use the Live! Marketplace.Xbox Arcade $199 does come with a memory card that used to cost $40 + tax so this is a great purchase, let's not forget the extra arcade games included as well as an HDMI port which it used to be exclusive to the Xbox 360 elite. But your right on one thing, XBLM is kinda useless without a HDD.

Actually it's my idea, and my work. I did it out of whims when I made my sig at the same time. Wiz is ma brolio, and I know what he wants; mostly cockblocked.
but still, I could of made something err well in his request, he woulda want something very big, thinking like TSD I say he would need a 1920×1080 sig with IDM/capcom girls/shermie in it just cuz he's the 1emu trollm@ster, but right now I'm too lazy to make that.
