I think the definition of "Old-School" is to have owned, or played, or have been above 10 at the time of the first generation of video game systems. Second generation-gamers, such as myself, have been playing since Genesis. Third generation-gamers are the ones who grew up with PSOne and N64. Fourth generation-gamers would be the ones that are growing up with the XBOX and PS2...etc.

Could I just get a RCA-2-S-Video Connection, connect to my video capture card, then record from the VCR? I think I have a crazy idea that's so insane it just might work!
@Kool Aid... I had to order mine (found it while I was looking for Mr. T memorabilia. Lowest price on the net when I bought it was $35!!!)

Be Somebody!!! "Mr. T's Be Somebody... Or Be Somebody's Fool" is the greatest movie in the history of the world.
It is an hour of Mr. T teaching kids on how to "Be Somebody," by going from 0-Biatch in under 3 seconds, singing your way through tolerance, dressing like cheap Taiwanese hookers, and by not drinking beer and smoking cigarettes that you found in the trash can!!!
I want to (I am not sure this is the correct technical term) rip this movie from VHS (1984) to my comp. to spread the joy of this masterpiece. Anyone know how to?

-Kawaks doesn't hog resources like a fat 300-pound man on an all-you-can-eat nite.
-MAME is NOT good for computers (like mine) that are craptastic.
-Kawaks supports all of NeoRageX's ROMs and most of MAMEs as well.
-Kawaks is more user friendly. Very customizable controls and not much brain power needed to use it.

@Elazul... Have you looked at most of the Genesis Library? Or the NES? or SNES? or Gameboy? Most of the games on these systems were CRAP, save for the jems. I mean, look at Battletoads on the Genesis, or Pit Fighter, or Ahh! Real Monsters. They were all made with money in mind.
Most games today, as well, are made with money in mind, but at least the price of MAKING the game can keep some HORRIBLE companies from trying to make a game without a game at it's core.

Cool Spot! That's the name of the 7-Up game!
Anyway, I know a game most of you haven't played. "DJ Boy" on the Genesis. This game seems like a VERY SKETCHY version of JGR. It only came out in Japan. I dare anyone to beat this game without save states. If you say you have, I will call you a liar!

I have personally done this, and the reactions are COMEDICAL!!!:
Wait until the telemarketer gets to the main offer or whatever, then ask him why is it such a good deal. If they respond, then reply "I'll tell you why, because your company gets blood-money and makes little Taiwanese kids smoke crack to get good deals, that's why!" or "I'll tell you why, because you touch yourself at night."

This "virus" uses AIM to send messages to all of your contacts and starting LOTS of chat rooms. I don't think ANYONE's computer can handle THAT many windows and activities open. To remove it, just uninstall "PSD Tool," or something like that.
