Hey Mr. Kenshiro how are things coming along??
NO more bugs to report as of late. Everything is looking good besides those bugs.
How are things looking as far as the FD1094 sega protection is going? I know you had said that it was annoying you!

It's completed.
I just finished to update my FBA-XXX skin.
CLEAN, LITE and ergonomically HEALTHY.

As you can see, there is a thing broken in the current Kenshiro's WorkInProgress build.
The item "PARENT" is out of place and it is not reachable through the normal SKIN XML coordinates.
I have warned Kenshiro already and I am sure the bug will be fixed in the final release.
(I really, really, really don't care about the rom parent info, so, what I want is just
a way to get rid of it from my skin)

HF - I think we were on X-S at the same time last night and I was lucky enough to get the beta build from you. I've only tested a few games that are new and said to be working (like Bonk, great version) but if kenshiro says its a buggy build then I'll hold off on really get into it deeper until a more stable release comes out.
kenshiro - GREAT work from what I've seen. Its because of you and BP that I built my Xbox Arcade Machine. I'm buying some comfy bar stools just so I can sit down and play for long sessions since the two of you keep updating things.

yea only you and one other person has it and i dont think they will even post back. yea i go by the name of XtecuterX73 over there and recently me and another member made a release for mednafenx-nes. bug fixed and correct palette fix. Im also working on a soldier of fortune fix for genesis (vdp ram write latency) which will stop the middle of the screen from bugging out so bad and im also working on an overclock cpu feature for mednafenx-nes. I posted that build for kenshiro so i could send more input to kenshiro but it is just a test build. I will not be sending anyone else a build.
Kenshiro is a great guy and already making rapid pace!!
we do appreciate all that he has done and what he will do in the future. we hope to hear from you soon kenshiro!!

, don't try it, i said in the previous post that all Psikyo games are buggy in this build, it will be a waste of time, like for others games i mentionned.ok sounds good enough for me
I had not seen the post that all Psikyo games were buggy. I knew of some but thanks for the info!! Gotta love those bugs! bonk's adventure is such a great game by the way, im still playin it!

i have been playing on it today as well, i can confirm that the only crash i receive is when loading the protedted fd sega games and also when trying to exit laser ghost.
ill have to give a try to the gunbird game and see what happens. Still solid work kenshiro!!!

wow what a lame ass looking and sounding game. mortal kombat did suck after the mk 1-mk-umk3. Trilogy was ok but that's where i stopped liking it.
I was so looking forward to doing sub-zero's fatality on............................superman??? oh wait i forgot there won't be any fatalaties!
why not mortal kombat vs streetfighter at least that would be interesting but that's just my 2 cents.

i made sure to say that it was just a test build so you can have some more input on everything but i havent gotten hardly any responses so no one really has it. When you have a build you want me to send out just let me know. There are a couple of people i know over there that will put it up once you have made final build. As far as the info goes i made notes from this thread so perhaps i got something mixed up. Once again we all appreciate everything that you are doing and always are looking forward to any updates from you. You've done alot in a short time. It seems like you and britneysPairs are the only ones still doing much as far as xbox arcade emulation goes and both of you do really execeptional jobs.

Could you post a list of newly added games? My FBA sets are all on DVD (xiso) so I can't copy them to PC to scan them with clrmame. I'd have to copy them to Xbox hdd and then ftp over to PC which would take a long time. I know of Power Drift, Raiden, Galaxy Force 2 and E-Swat. Thanks!
well the dats are a long list, i havnt been through the whole list yet but i can send you a dat file so you can have a read if you would like. I do know thunder heroes is new on there, its a pretty good platformer by the way of final fight. defense is new as well as aurail, the unprotected version of thunder blade is on here but i cannot get the heli to take off from the ground, perhaps it has not been keymapped yet.

sorry for the double post. hey kenshiro, all you have to do is click on that link to see what kinds of things people are saying about your builds. I know you wanted my help in getting this out there and i am doing what i can for you.
It shouldnt be long and we will see what kinds of things people will find. Maybe some bugs we haven't found yet. I just want to clarify to everyone else that kenshiro knows i am sending his beta builds out for people to test, i respect him and his work so im just making sure that everyone knows that im not just throwing hiw work out to everyone. He is fully aware that i am getting this out there for him.

Turbo out run is currently non working on my build, for the fixeight in my remains he's not emulated on FBA (maybe i'm wrong).
For Bonk's adventure do you have a link to the FBA schuffle build or a topic, i'm lazy at the moment
Edit: i thought that Bonk's adventure and B.C Kids was two differents games lol
So you're right B.C. Kid / Bonk's Adventure / Kyukyoku!! PC Genjin are emulated by FBA since a few time. I'll check that, looks like funny game thanks kenshiro, i have hoped that someone would take a look at this game since mame first hit the xbox, it is a pretty funny game and a good arcade platformer at that, even though it has games on the turbografx and nes, the arcade version is by far my favorite at least. If you still want me to send you a link to fba shuffle do let me know. Please keep me updated, i hope you can work this game in.

added some entries to the spreadsheet. i see that someone did try out bonk's adventure and it says unplayable in .84 core. hopefully this will not be too much trouble for you bp. im gonna go test some more games out. This game was fixed in like the .93 or something core of mame.

Im working my end.... I need testing or else it will be months Id say. The stripped roms will be out in 24hours plus im adding in a few.

i posted this in bp's thread about the new coinops and a member suggested i ask here. Is there any way to see bonk's adventure, fixeight and turbo outrun ever make it into fba-xxx? I heard that bonk's adventure was recently added to fba shuffle.
Not trying to troll this thread or whatnot just crossing my fingers for these 3 great games which shouldn't take too much ram.

People really need to help out with this spreadsheet: Here I'm working on the "G's" right now, but there are alot of roms to check. Everyone was excited about CoinOPS - but where is the help. If everyone just checked out 10 games.... there is bound to be at least 100 using this at the moment. That's 1000 roms right there.... It's the least we can do to show BP our appreciation.
i am about to get off of work so i plan on giving some input on the list. WIthout Bp's continous work the whole xbox scene would pretty much be a standstill so i want to do whatever i can to help.

Ive fixed about 10-15 games tonight But I need people to start testing roms..... I found a few that dont work so I removed them that no one complained about.
After that I can look at new games
Like Powerdrift...Gforce...Raiden Jet 2000.... Bonks Adventure etc

thanks for the reply bp. i added bonk's adventure to the spreadsheet. It will run it's just it wasn't fixed completely until like mame update .94 or something like that. I'm sure that an updated driver would easily fix that.

Not to sure what you have muched up but you have stuff out of sequence ive managed to do what you have done but a proper install doesnt have these issues.
To make sure your favs are saved after you have selected them. Press start to open the menu and reboot to dash this will update the info to the database permently. Otherwise when you scan the game it will use the stored database for fav status which wont have been updated permently.
Rom status are all diff now sorry for that stuff use older builds
they are set to run other stuff like
.72core for later
run with no sound
Hot games
Classic games for later
SNES game for later
Megadrive Game
good job bp, you do a hell of a job. can't wait to see what's up your sleeve with your next releases!
