nope but to read much larger than 4 gig is out ...
Did someone increase the size that XBMC is capable of reading, last time I checked it was only 4 gig. I wish you could lauch games, or apps off the usb.

Iq_132 definitely does not get forgotten, nor does the FBA team. Along with him and the FBA team, the MAME team/Haze, Xport, Nes6502 and Kenshiro -- those people are all responsible for so much on the emulation front in general. The fact is, the departure of nes6502 from the Xbox Scene due to unnecessary BS has left the community in state of realization.
Well...actually it was because my life had been consumed with ZsnexBox, FB, FBL, Nestopia, Xport additions, and OpenBOR. I decided to shift my time to other things (like life =)).
Glad to see people are still using the Xbox and all the great emulators.

Hi nes, you must realize though that making these emulators to was part of your life, I'm sure you got satisfaction out of working hard and seeing the results. Living life can be defined in many ways, it can be watching a sunset, watching a movie, or working hard on something and seeing the results. Your hard work was rewarding to you and made all of us who enjoy games have a life filled with more fun:)

I had to completely rewrite xbmc to handle fanart etc and still be lightning fast.....
personallyit got bloaty later on and jmarshall moved to pc and really it suffered from being sluggish and bloaty from then on as PC dev took over
What version did you use as your base for editing.

What are the best builds of XBMC considering speed and or features.

ill look at doing an option to set path for consoles....eg SMB://blah blah or DVD path.... its on a to do list but really as ive said this todo list isnt controlled
alot of this stuff just needs to be planned in for a night of work then its in forever...at present im fix games for myself I'd really appreciate if you'd do this. I want to create a dvd version with each emu containing a small collection of best games for each system.

I'd like to make a request to enable dvd loading of all the emu xbe's, arcade is the only xbe that works off a dvd disc the rest lock up the emu. Thank you for you hard work.

Did you ever enable the console XBE's to be loaded off a dvd, previous version they locked up. Btw, I have a big list high quality japanase/foreign snes and genesis gems that I hand picked.

I guess there is someone here we can't trust and is trying to sabotage retro gaming. I suggest whomever you are to grow up. The only way megaupload content is going get flagged, is that, someone with the link reports it. So obviously we have to watch out, I'm guessing it's someone that is bitter about something. Grow up, or you'll ruin a nice project.
With that said can someon suggest a good free usenet client, and or PM an alternative link to this release. I've never used usenet before, how does it work?

I haven't used Usenet for ages, so I dusted off my copy of free agent and jumped into hyperspace (VPN) and took down the files you posted. Some were ok but there were a bunch that failed and showed that the Rar(s) were corrupted. Thus I could not "Get" the files.
I found X on MU so its not a problem, and will test it out on my fresh newish xbox and report back if I see any errors. The MU copy does not have the roms, so I will use my gold and BAED roms instead.
Hope that clears up your question Grr.

Oh and BTW watch out MU is banning IPs on that upload.
What do you mean banning IPS? Hope someone can upload the full version *with roms included* to maegaupload.

You download roms, others peoples work, without paying, your doing the same thing. I saw your post about emulating Killer Instinct on the xbox? So do you have a Killer Instinct arcade machine in your basement? Your doing the same thing, stealing money, but you think it's alright because it benefits you.

Why are some of you being such hypocrites?, whining about a money donation while they sit with dozens/hundreds maybe thousands of roms from games they never paid for, mp3s, programs, whats your answer for that?
(sarcasm alert)I'm sure all of you that use coinops and other emulators, only put the games you currently own or have owned on your xbox/pc/ps3 etc.................If you feel that isn't wrong than your a hypocrite, do what is right, honestly delete every rom/game file, and music files you have on your computer that you didn't pay, and that you have no right to have, that programmers spent hundreds/thousands of hours making. Then delete your account on all emulation sharing forums/websites and never be seen again.

Is it a donation "option"? If you don't donate, does it stop you downloading something? If it does, then it's not a donation, you have to pay, which is a bad thing.
But if you can download regardless, then the donation is just to keep the site going, and there is no problem with that.
Exactly,, donations are a good thing if you believe in the cause. Sometimes these guys need to buy new equipment, xbox's, cables, dvd's, etc..... They aren't forcing you to do anything.

I have allready done a few more cores and psx (midway is 90 percent....N64 is 90 percent...intellision is 100 percent....colec is 100 percent....vitual system is 100 percent...all old ataris are 100 percent...C64 is 100 percent) is one of them.....they wont go in this build and im deciding whats best for the next build and how to put these in as seemless as possible or what of these I should add...can you give me the list of hacks etc you want in and ill add them into this build....
Im thinking of adding in a xml to add any hacks you want

ill be putting the release plan in place soon and asking for help maybe in the next week.....I think one version is 400 or so games and fits on a dvd/standard xbox drive and the other is 1750 or so games 16gig....remember I dont release the stuff I just hand it over....and also get them to help assemble bits and make sure its 100percent correct
also both builds use a different save so can be sep from any other builds ever done and both have a diff icon....you can see the ShowROOM icon is a bit diff as its my user pic....

Since you are making a release that fits on a dvd could you release a version that allows to load all emulators off the dvd and/or explain what steps to make the emulators load off a dvd, the last version i tried all consoles froze when trying to load off dvd. The reason I think a dvd version would be nice is because the portability, and also to have a backup unless you have a hardrive problem. Thanks

diff feature...remember im not really docummenting much...and in truth im working on Showroom 2 so dev for this has stopped...I havent recieved and bug info in 3-4 days so in about 8 hours CoinOPS reignite X is being shut down ... unless others help to do Showroom 2 ill be gone from any new features for about 2-3 weeks id say
Did you your see my request to release a version which all emulator xbes can be launched off of dvd? It'd would be great to see a dvd capable and the regular hardrive release. The reason I ask is it's nice to have a portable version of your emulator as well as a dvd backup. Thanks.

R8 will be out in 5 days....its the final reignite build so if you want something done in it.....let me know or if you know of bugs let me know...or else you will have to wait for
CoinOPS SHOWROOM (which will feature a best of collection and a new rebranding and new look a few more arcade cores to help stuff run in CoinOPS that cant run well now)
For the last build could you make it possible Possible to run the emulator off a dvd. Maybe you could have a "dvd" and "hardrive" version or reignite 8 bundled together. It would be greatly appreciated it. Thank you.

I had requested this earlier and hope to see it in all the new builds. The ability to lauch all xbe's off dvd media, currently most of, if not all the console emulator's lock-up when being loaded off dvd. Having the ability to load off dvd, would give us the option to have a backup of coin-ops and also be able to carry this emulator in emulator to play on another xbox at a friends house. Please add this, thankyou.
