    also as for the favourites staying yellow , i had the same thing with 2nd quarter until this patch was released on mininova

    i usually use reps 195.149.21.209:27888 but just keep getting error connecting to server now :)

    Hi

     

    Just tried to play some ST online and noticed i cant get onto kaillera ? im using kawaks 1.59 and oct 8 2007 client , i havnt played for a few weeks and felt like having a quick go, i havnt changed any settings and ive been using kaillera for years now :)

     

    so is it my end or is everyone having the same probs ?

    found this on mini nova but im curious to what the fix is

     

    CoinOPS 2nd Quarter Patch Fix iND

     

    Install

     

    * Ok after you unrar this you will have a file called default.xbe just ftp it over to your

    CoinOPS folder on your xbox and overwrite the old one... then to be on the safe side take

    the UDATE and TDATE folders from the CoinOPS_2nd_Quarter_Patch-iND and ftp them to your

    E drive overwriting them again! All should be fine now!

    fixes the back button in settings... it didnt save the settings it just canceled out. You have to press start and then go back to games to save settings without this patch.

     

    sorry forgot to add that to the nfo file

    Will this update be released as a patch or as another full release? I'm sure people don't want to have to download all those roms again :)

     

    Maybe keep the new roms and emu separate, or even supply a txt file with whatever new roms have been added, so I can just grab the updated emu and add the roms myself from my own sets?

     

    excellent idea as it is a pain having to download all the roms that you already have again

     

    will in game 720P be supported this time ?

    im sure he said this is going to be released as a patch.so should be just the new roms and all the rest of the goodies. :)

    amazing work here...this would be a sweet goal for mamedox to aspire to...with command line launching in place we should be able to build a front end as cool as this right BP?

    im looking at something pretty new soon by looks.. ill let you know soon. For now I may release a final Arcades patch to you guys.

     

    A question for you guys is do you want

     

    A) All games including ones people havent heard of and all the cheap games

    D) All the top games in a really flash interface

    Deffinitly D , i cant see the point of have loads of crap games your never gonna play , but thats my opinion :mrgreen:

    V1.26 in the end , that one works best for me , i have the complete correct rom set for it too and it does look really nice on my plasma , im well happy with it now , i wont be upgrading in the future either :)

     

    Guwange would not work for me in 720P mode but works fine in 720x480P mode , looks great too

    how are you getting on with fba pro?

     

    still messing around without much luck tbh . i tried v1.28 again today and used my ini settings from v1.26 still no luck .. kof2002 rom loaded (Main BIO's version) in v1.28 but all the video settings were still screwed

     

    it was pretty much the same as fba xxx 2007 , the menu's were out of sync and adjusting in the menu setting didnt really sort it , also the set up menu dosnt fit on the screen in 720p mode because you cant see the bottom of it (exit FBA etc etc) , v1.28 will freeze and need a hard reset if you try to change to HD in the main menu but you can change while in game but its still not right .. v1.26 is perfect for video and sound but just wont load the odd neo main BIO's rom (seems to be if its got a matching decrypted version IE:kof2002d )so ill just stick with that i think cause im out of ideas really

    OMG ive just sorted it,, sort of , i thought id try it in 480I and 480P and the games i had trouble with are now working ?? so now im using 720x480P 16/9 .. it looks as good as 720P mode in super eagle so im happy now .. finally :P

    well you can try the 07_06 version coz if i remember it was just a few bug fixes in the newest version.

     

    ok ill give that a go .. i think in the later version HD was supported but ill test those roms on the earlier version see what happens

    well managed to find the latest version of FBA XXX here

    if im not allowed to put that up please remove .. kof2002 and kof2000 roms work ok in this version but certain roms like mslug5 dont even show , i suppose they arnt supported in this version , also i noticed if i put this version in 720p all the rom list are out like they dont fit on the screen properly , so for example my neo roms would be listed under cps2 roms and the set up menu wont fit on the screen properly either ;) the sound clicks abit too , ive been messy around with this all day now , i think ill just stick with the old v1.26 pro version becasue that displays HD video and sound properly and i just wont boot the roms that dont work
