but if he can't tell the difference between playable (i.e runable) and perfect (i.e no flaws) then he shouldn't whine.
playable actually means that you can play with it and, a game that runs at 10fps isn´t exactly playable.
ok apparently, people here misunderstand emualtion lingo.
let me give you an example, go to teh n64 emus section on zophar.net
they'll tell you of how some emulators were the first to get commercial games PLAYABLE but not perfect (in the emu descriptions)
in emu lingo, playable (wether in be emulators, translation hacks, patches....etc) means that it will actually run.
perfectly, means that it will run like the console itself and maybe even better.

it was actually unheard of in most of the world.
arcade owners weren't too keen to change their hardware or to buy the neogeo 64 hardware as the number of games weren't really that big, nor was support enough, nor were the games of superb quality.
there is no neogeo64 console though, just an arcade board.

when k' first came out, no body knew where they came from and we figured out the plot later on.
be patient and all will be explained when the game is released.

yeah actually it should be heading toward the time line, even though TECHNICALLY the time line should be still a long ways off.
but they've already started to incorporate the timeline merging.
andy and hoktomaru, griffin, terry's new clothes and the appearance of rock in some of the poses.....etc

um, snk did the same thing with k' and maxima when they came out of no where and became the hero team.

Silent Hill.
Resident evil (at least after the first) became more of a shock horror game than a real horror game ( i remember feeling like it had become an action game and actually finding dino crisis two "which is an action game" scarier than resident evil 3)
Silent hill on the other hand is a psychological horror game, it scares you on an inner level and doesn't depend on shock, hence forth no matter how many times you play any of the games, you still feel afraid and even though you might KNOW about a shock in the game it still scares you (the cat and corpse in the school in silent hill one for example)

Silent hill : se7en, 8mm, nightmare simulator.
silent hill hands down.

While i'm not that hyped for a sony based arcade board, i hope it works out better than the neogeo 64 did.

While i do play roms and emulators i keep in mind the whole company going out of business and arcades dying factor.
i have (and i'm sure of my count) spent more money on mvs arcade and other arcade games than the games themselves probably cost.
so i don't really have a guilty coincience

If he's confused between playable and "perfect" then he has no right to be that angry at aurthors,
besides, cinder is right.
the writers owe him nothing.
yes it should be good, but i don't think they'd get the release right on the first try
besides he should take into considerations that some roms are badly dumped.
(like most hybrid heaven roms)

actually i think orochi AND RUGAL are in some way involved (since shizuru is in the game, and a character that looks like rugal are in the game)
