    FBA-XXX is driving me nuts

    also you might ask prican since ur using his build.... i m using the last fbaxxx build with the banned roms from gogo.. my kof2k3 n others work find.. except for a few rom files im missing in some games,wrong crcs.. but no big deal since its svcbl.. got plus working.....

    First, did you enable the new sets in the fbaxxx.ini file?  After you have run FBAXXX once, FTP into your XBox and find that ini file in the "ini" folder. 

     

    Look for a line that says:

    bDisableLocked 1

     

    Change the '1' to a '0' and that will enable the new sets.  Now, do you plan to use RomCenter or ClrMAMEPro to check your ROMS?  FBAXXX creates DATS for those when youlaunch it for the first time, but the first time you launch it you do not have the new sets anabled so they do not appear in the DATS.  You need to FTP to you XBox and delete the DATS it created.  Then restart FBAXXX after you have also enabled the new sets and it will make new DATS... these DATS will include information for the new sets.

    hey quick question, I’ve been searching up and down a ton of forums and i can't recall where i saw it. maybe some can redirect me to the red hearing lol. any how i once saw a post that talked about playing emus online with xboxlink or something. does any one know if this is at all true? i remember reading that the guy who posted said he could but arhhhhhh the woes he didn't say how. been doing some digging but i've found nothing at all on this anywhere on any of the tunneling pages.

    x2 lite(2.3b) is the way to go if u wanna save money. It is a great chip and easy to install. If u live in Texas order from system-mods.com. I did and I got my chip in like 30hrs. :P

    cool didnt know they were from Tx.. i got mine from modchipman.com... i installed an x2.3b lite plus chip.. had no problems with flashing.. didnt want t o solder..lol

    i hot glued that sucker.. :D

    Interesting Prob I Found With Fbax And Sfa3

    well i was in another forum where a guy mentioned that he couldn't get Dramatic Battle mode in sfa3(Street Fighter Alpha 3) when using fbax but using the same rom in kawa-x it works  :lol:

     

    for those who don't know, to get Dramatic Battle mode you press and hold all 3 kick buttons while at the title and press start.

     

    i also tried this on fba pc emu and it didn't work either, but winkawaks 1.49 did :D

     

    i did set my buttons up by editing the sfa3.ini in the tdata folder but still no go

    FBAX Skins Thread

    You guys are making it to hard to pick a skin. Someone hurry! Make a FBAX ramdom skin switcher  :)

     

      GLiTcH, my only suggestion is to lose the "loading" and the "ver 2".......and maybe the "ghozt". The reason I say this is....Well, that screen shot is also used for the settings screen. It's more of a "not the game list screen" than a loading screen. The reason I think you should lose the "ver 2" is because........I'll probably want to use it on any newer versions that come out. So the ver 2 text would be a bit obsolete. The reason I say to lose the Ghozt......no disrespect.......Someone might want to use this skin on FBAX B4.1. Sure it's got the spinning cube, but the new skins still look good on it.

     

      Now if this, or a future skin were to be included in a Gh0zt pack. Then I say leave the "Ghozt" and the "ver #" in. Otherwise it would be nice to use it with a different version.

     

      Keep up the good work. Maybe we will get an option to change skins in the next version of FBAX.

    FBAX Skins Thread

    Not to sound like a noob, but how do I get these skins and apply them? The previews look great! I only have one small suggestion. The highlighted area where the preview image sets in FBAX. It looks fine until a vertical game shot is there. Anyway to make the skins without that area?
