    My box is hacked and I installed dashboard. I know I can run DVD's from any region, but can I run games from any region?

    P.S. I am using C-XBox Tool 2 to extract my xbox ISOs.

     

    lmao.. i dont hink i have ever heard of that app.. if u have a bigger HD put ava as ur dashboard n get qwix. qwix can make/extract isos etc.. also.. if you want to put a game on ur hd n still have it in iso form, qwix can be used to ftp it to ur xbox with avalaunch as ur dash.. no need to extract iso then ftp the files :punk:.. qwix does it for you, just load iso n choose ftp all <_<

    should i use the ips patch on the regular official 9-01-04 default.xbe?

     

    or mamesets default.xbe from 9-01-04?

     

    got a link to a good ips patcher?

    default xbe or mamexbe?

    which file is needed to patch?

    Read the included "readme.txt" file in the download.

    well to anyone that didnt d/l the patch n want to know if its the default or mame xbe:

     

    -Use 9/1/04 official fbaxxx mame release to utilize patch.

    It's been a few days since I posted...a couple of quick updates from my build...

     

    1)  I have everything working with the MS3,4,5 games...with the exception of the warning screen on ms4 being garbled but, Prican tells me this is normal.

     

    2)  All of the "banned games", homebrew neogeo & debug games have been added...so you can play around with Shinobi and Outrun in this build.

     

    3.  Add SS5S, with Fatalities code, so no unibios 2 required.  I'm still working on getting the sound...update...FIXED/Finished

     

    4.  Have to test the DAT generation...before I added the SS5S driver it was working...I'm assuming it works but I have to test it.  update...WORKS

     

    ...I can't think of anything else....(there's the multiple rom checking bug...but I'll work on cleaning that later.)

     

    I'll make a patch for the 09/01 fbaxxx_mame.xbe, and include the DATs (and if your nice, I may include a patch for the fbaxxx_old.xbe...but no promises!)

     

    ...and if anyone is interested in hosting the complete source...I may release this also...

     

    UPDATE DONE! <_< Anyone volunteering to host the patch & dats?

    hey zero you have to use the new skins setup...get the 9-01-04 version and use the skins from that version in the new fbaxxxspec we just got....its a skinning problem :lol:

    Huge thanks to Thraxen for the files.  I'm getting them now & will update as soon as I've got them all sorted.  (Also thanks to Thraxen for maintaining the MAMEoX vm.txt - I knew I recognized that name from somewhere, but just couldn't place it! :) )

    I'm using a Pelican Real Arcade stick I just bought a few minutes ago, and I just remember that it doesn't have a right analog stick. Is there any possible way for me to get around this mishap to make it back to the fbaxxx menu? I don't want to IGR everytime I wanna play a different game. Thanks for the help.

    I'm getting CRC errors and wrong size errors on several ROMs, even after downloading them multiple times.  And I still haven't got a neogeo.zip that verifies good in CLRMAMEPRO.

    Most of these ROMs I have downloaded multiple times, yet I keep getting errors.  I really need versions of these files that verify OK with PR's build of FBA-XXX, and I'm having a lot of trouble finding them.  I downloaded files from 3 newsgroups, going back to late June (a.b.e.misc,a.b.e.mame,&a.b.e.neogeo), and I'm still coming up empty on error-free versions of these sets.

     

    Anyone who could help out in any way with this, it would be much appreciated.  Whenever I do get these files, I'll be able to compile & start posting BAED3 that day.
