if snk move all their new games to the atomsware doesn't that mean we wont be seeing no more neogeo versions?, so does that mean snk could bring out a new console with the atomsware board in it?, and let me know if im wrong but isent the atomsware pretty much just a dreamcast?, if so i take it we will be seeing all of snks new games on ps2, and xbox, and gc and maybe dc too, so no more home versions on an snk console , and that also means no emulation of the arecade neogeo games for some time to come, as im 99.9% sure the atomsware is not emulated yet.
I'm am 200% sure that Atomsware isn't emulated yet and will not be for a long time.
And SNK is dead, Playmore owns the rights now. Well, to put it in another way, SNK lives through Playmore

Currently Metal Slug 5 works only in a special MAME build.
-
I hate those things. They constantly attack in large numbers and it takes like 10 shots to kill them. Do you remember the last Boss in Mslug 3? He's another huge Mars Alien.
I love that mother alien even more. Metal Slug 3 is gaming bliss from start to finish.
-
I just love the Mars People in Metal Slug 2,X and 3.
I haven't heard any SF music in SVC...A completely new soundtrack, which isn't that good to boot.
-
It's good... The backgrounds are kind of lame and some of the musics too though.
There's Athena, Zero, Mars People (from Metal Slug), Goenitz, Vega, M. Bison, Balrog, Red Arremer (from Ghosts & Goblins), Iori, Mad Iori, Mr. Karate, Shin Gouki/Akuma, Kyo, Mai, Serious Mr. Karate, Demitri (from DarkStalkers), Dan,
Ryu, Ken, Violent Ken, Dhalsim, Earthquake (from Samurai Shodown), Terry, Ryo, Kasumi, Shiki (from Samurai Shodown 64), Choi, Kim, Genjuro Kibagami, Geese, Chun-Li, Tabasa (from DarkStalkers, originally from Warzards), Sagat, Akuma, Hugo (from Street Fighter III)
In no particular order of course... Did I leave someone out?

If I remember correctly (but i'm not sure), emsley was making a NeoRAGEx package... This will/should work with Kawaks as well (SVC I mean)
Since I downloaded the early svcplus.zip when NeoRAGEx version wasn't even thought about and now I'm playing in NeoRAGEx.
-
Um.....okay.
So what exactly is that suppose to mean? He's going to upload that rom package in a site?
Most likely yes.
-
Yes I KNOW. I'm just trying to provide you with alternatives, since most rom links to SVC on this board are dead and new ones are extremely hard to find...
emsley is working on a emulation package containing SVC, Garou, MS5 and a few others. I'm sending him my SVC P1 and M1 soon.
-
As of late, Tekken TAG only partially works and is not playable.
-
If this means anything to you, I've never found any of the newest Neo-Geo roms from KaZaA... You might have better luck with eMule, but nothing comes quickly from eMule. (my past experiences with it.)
-
Kazaa doesn't bring any viruses/spyware if you use the Lite version.
A Lite version of eMule is also available.
-
eMule is a filesharing program like KaZaA... Althought it works a bit differently.

you're talking out of your ass I'm afraid, cause there were ARCADE VERSIONS of CvS1 and CvS Pro(japanese arcade only I think)
Ahhh, of course, you were talking about the arcade versions.
-
I find it quite disturbing that at times, there's more guests than actual members on this board... Just because of SVC, Metal Slug 5 and Samurai Shodows 5 threads...
-
Tone it down a notch Garner, no need for the Caps Lock key.
-
CvS2 Use NAOMI. CvS1 and CvS Pro uses Playstation hardware... Two different things. Or am I just talking out of my ass?
-
Happy New Year to every one on this board....From me.
-
Still to this day, I think highly of my Police Quest, Space Quest, King's Quest and Leisure Suit Larry collections.
-
Yes, I am talking about that damn Bank Error. Got NRX H1 but still get the error...
Strange.... I have the H1 and I don't get any errors...
-
Hahah...I'll take your word for it I have never been too sure of japanese spellings, just rough guidelines...
-
Meh...it's alright. Could have been a lot better! The graphics haven't improved at all. But since I'm not much of a graphics whore, that doesn't bother me. What bothers me more is the removal of the No Contest moves and Bust/Slash options.
The addition of the new characters is pretty cool, though.
I was really excited to get the rom but I am a bit disappointed. But hey, it's still Samurai Showdown Get the rom anyway, it's worth it.
Samurai Showdown 4 is still the best.
The exclusion of No Contest mobes is a drawback, but at least I find that the POW Specials are easier to pull off. Meditation is also cool.
I also miss the CD 15-hit combo, and the selectable control methods. (not talking about Bust/Slash, but the other one.)

Keep the faith.

I'll start snooping my sources, Em.

Yeah, welcome.

As do I, but it's really a matter of subtle differences.
