  1. from what I hear, the emu will be abondoned after the next release and the guy who writes the emu is gonna go work in a farm or something new zealand

That is true. The_Author, PeteB, smf and others are releasing the final version soon. After that, it's good bye.

  2. I don't know if you've chosen the right forum for your topic... Next time, use the Technical Help or Request Any Rom forums...

Anyway....First you need to get a PSX emulator, a PSX BIOS, a graphics-, audio-, and a controller plugin. You can get the plugins from www.zophar.net and the BIOS from www.bioshouse.fr.st.

And of course, you'll be needing a PSX game CD or an ISO image of the CD.

  3. Hey I've just got into Ps2 Emulation and so far I haven't been able to understand how it works :D ! So if anyone could explain how to start and give me some websites that I can d/l the stuff I need that would kick @$$!

Can you run the PS2 emus at full speeds? I doubt it.

PS2 emulation is in very early stages and I hardly consider that playable. (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.)

  4. I burned Legend of Dragoon all 4 cds and a yugioh game, they all work. And on the bottom of my PS is says:

    Playstation Programmer Tool

    Debugging station

My dad bought this from a pawm shop. Maybe its some kind of testing version that doesnt have the restriction or something. I dunno. The model # is DTL-H1001 maybe its the first version or something.

And it has a small sticker that says "Property of Sony Computer Entertainment" with a barcode under and the number 1000743.

Maybe its because of that, but someone should test it, maybe it will work on all of them.

That's property of a SONY employee... It plays all burned games, since it's a developer's tool.

  5. Yes, but consider this: Without Playmore, there would be no more Neo-Geo games being released. That would be much worse.

Yeah! Thanks to playmore the neogeo universe still live in pretty good conditions!

    I love this "old-style" games, they're feeling a lot 90s, I LOVE this feeling!

NeoGeo is the longest lived hardware ever! God save NeoGeo!

Thanks a lot to Playmore! :D

And my friends...please, Playmore more more more more more...and more!

After all the first Neo-Geo game was released in 1990 (NAM 1975).
