    Coinops in Arcade Cabinet, doubts

    yeah ok i see - all you have to do is configure it with a pad first then change over to cab controls. i did most of my button configuration on a pad then saved the cfg files to my pc for other cabs.

     

    but i do agree ann easier button config/global config is needed - it took me ages as my button layout is very different to the xbox pad

    ok thanks fu - i did speak to BP earlier today and he said it was a hidden feature with coinops gold - to rotate everything. The skin could be adjusted or something....... but this wont give me full vertical (kemaps etc) as in ignite.

     

    hadnt tried FBA but im glad you can rotate in that too....

     

    Is there no way to create a new skin with rotated sections? im new to skinning so if i know it can t be done then i wont pursue...

    Im building a vertical cab (old galaxian cab with new 21inch crt tv and 1943 artwork ) and need help getting a couple of things working. i spoke to BP on msn about possibiltiy and he said it was in GOLD, but i can get it to work. I need to know

     

    1. how to get the ROM list on coinops to rotate for vertical

     

    2. will this rotate the controls on version CoinOPs GOLD (like it does in ignite)

     

    3. is it possible to rotate games / Romlist in FBA (anyversion)

     

    4. How do i boot straight into Coinops from turn on (softmod)

    For bulge2: what's kind of arcade stick you use? When you scrooll down over the romlist is like you use left stick of a standard Xbox pad?

     

     

    i use a jamma conversion board which uses a digital input for the analog stick. so when i move my digital stick down its effectively like pushing the analog stick all the way down hence speedy rom scanning. if you try it the roms move way to fast , but obvoiusly if you have an analog stick you only move it a bit for slower rom scanning. fba is the only emu that does this and its a right pain :)

    hi bp

     

    ive tried the included lightgun games, but not the extra ones you said on msn, but i cant them to recognise the lightgun in port 3 and 4. i can control gold menu with lightgun but when i go into game it defaults to port 1&2. the screen flashes but wont allow me to use port3

     

    this is on my cab so i cant keep pulling cables etc

    can you please address the input system on the rom select screen - its set to analog, but when i use my digital only arcade stick it just speeds through the roms at 5-10 a go.

     

    ta

     

    edit: for example on the controller configuration when i pull down it goes one step to the next. obviously the input will have to be faster than this ass theres so many roms)

    The Xbox is such a useful machine.

    Far more useful than this bump. Now, if I had any mod powers here, I'd close this, but... >:/

     

    yeah it reallly should be closed the cab went ages ago. still the real point was not to try and sell some gay arcade mame crap. i put a lot of work into this machine and thought someone would like a bang in the box complete arcade. keeping the scene alive !!!!!!!!!

    Right haveing a massive clearout and it has to go:
