  1.

Someone has dedicated rather a lot of their free time to making a custom Super Mario World level which features Mario hurtling through a stage bumping against various blocks/enemies/items which fit in precisely with a J-Pop song chirping merrily away in the background. Appreciate it by clicking the link above and watching all eleven minutes. Then wonder whether there’s possibly any way that could have been worth the days/weeks/months invested in its creation.

    Found it here

Sometimes I really wonder how many time the Japanes have. But it's really well done. Wonder how many tries it needed, till they finished it.

  2. you just wanna show off your betties. :banghead:

    Got me! :banghead:

Wow, I didn't even know you were in the pic. I was staring at the oversized clevages.

Yeah, especially for you I've posted this huge picture, so you can look at the cleavages.

But to be honest, it's just a photo I did with my N95. Great Cam, huge res.

Btw: we really need a [imgSCALE]-tag.

  3. Picallo's actor wasn't a good call imo, I'll be thinking about vampires the entire movie.

Not just Vampires, also the bad Braniac! But I like the actor, so we'll see.

Can't understand why this skinny guy should be goku, too.

  4. I disagree that MK sucked - I think it was and still is a great gaming franchise with fluid controls and interesting characters. It may not be perfect, but in the nineties it really took the fight up to Capcom.

People who think MK was nothing more than gore really need to wipe the blood from their eyes, because beneath the blood and the fatalities was a decent fighting game that - horror or horrors - dared to be different from Street Fighter or King of Fighters. Mortal Kombat had more visceral fighting mechanics that relied less about combo attacks and more on avoiding making mistakes.

Just because Mortal Kombat reveled in excess crimson and was not like Street Fighter does not automatically mean that it was a bad game.

It's just a shame the franchise is being prostituted in such a way now.

I totally agree to nearly all the sentences, except for the last one.

I think it's an interesting crossover and really looking forward to the game that comes from it.

I really wonder if all this arguments were there aswell with the older crossover franshises.

  5. I'm never going to bother with any other version than VBA-M, frankly speaking.

Great, I think we have a Fan out there.

    What's the best build?

The latest available SVN Test build is most of the time, the best one. ATM build 503 of 7th may.

Get it onto our homepage at http://vba-m.ngemu.com/vbam/vbacompiles/msvc2008/

Btw: could someone remove this news from the frontpage?

  6. This build is a fake.

This seems that this noob Laterza has taken Forgottens (And now started on ours) Vba compiles and is editing the resource data (Menu's, Dialogue boxes and language)

He says he is fixing bugs but he is fixing nothing as he doesn't have the available source code required.

We at the VBA-M board are combatting this by adding encryption to the resource files..

No, do not worry it doesn't mean it won't work for you, it just means we are preventing applications and hex editors from making changes to the compiled source.

Hope 1emu won't support this reshack anymore and stops to report about this.

This is a VBA-M Public service announcement

  7. Staying on topic, you'll get a lot better RE2 experience by sticking with the PSX version. The N64 version is not only crippled by the N64's own hardware (tech side of things sucks hard), but also because no emulator regardless of plugins emulates the game right.

Yeah, we wrote custom microcode instead of using the standard stuff, and the video decompression code used the hardware in ways no one imagined. You'd have to emulate everything to get it to work right. If it did work though, unlike the PS2 version it had surround sound and 640x480 resolution.

    We?

    Who are you?
