well basically, the guy killed one of the svc's for kof2003 so thats all you need to if you want to try it for ppl using kawa-hex.
question for Mr. X or N3OGH0ST: if you could use samsho5 with all the fixes inculding merging the v roms, you should be able to use a smaller rom and hex it to big and save garoup for kof2003 right?
i'm planning on testing it on art of fighting 2 since it has all the roms but one extra v which can be hexed out
update: seems that you can only use certain roms just not any but i'm not getting any luck with roms that have 8 c roms that aren't 8mb
In using Ciccior techniques (Thx to him for roms names locations), it's very easy to replace Encrypted sets + Alternative sets with SVC, Powerin4, Samsho5 & others on the same default.xbe.

It's all the same to me really, although I'd like to see KOF2003 on EGCG NRX.
Yes, but if kof2003 is released on a special version of NRX made by EGCG, maybe P roms don't allow to run on Nebula & Winkawaks Loader.

The differences between Double Impact to Third Strike was way more massive then the origional SF3 to Double Impact.
There is one thing I hate about Third Strike and that's they totally screwed up Sean. Sean was GREAT in the previous two incarnations, but they made him totally suck in third strike. I guess it's cause Capcom don't like somebody showing up Ryu for best character in a game.
In fact I know, the 3 SF3 opus :
Street Fighter III : New Generation ;
Street Fighter III 2nd Impact : Giant Attack ;
Street Fighter III 3rd Strike : Fight for the Future.
I know SF3 W Impact (New Generation + 2nd Impact) & SF3 3rd Strike were out on DC, but I don't understand why it's in this topic ("worst fighting game"). This game seems to be excellent.

dunno if this was ever posted or not but http://n-r.webhop.org/ has rom fixes for mslug5nd set. it does the following from the readme:
p1 - 975eb06a to 3b4eda6b
V1 - C3540E0D to DC7F03F0
V2 - 077BD2F4 to EEB7C926
V3 - 39B14567 to 02FD519E
V4 - 969FF3B2 to D7C67794
also it seems to be another m1 rom being only 64k which can be found in the sites rom release
I already tested all the fixes and the m1 on winkawaks and it works perfect
P.S. this site has the kof2k3 rom as well if you still need it
M1 (128 Kb) & M1 (64 Kb) is in fact the same thing, because when U split the first one (128 Kb) in 2 parts, U can notice the 2nd part (64 Kb) is a dummy file. So, M1 (64 Kb) is useless.

271-m1d.bin -> 512 Kb is wrong. The file is x 4 -> i.e : Sound Driver(ROM)Ver 1.9 00/03/22 To SNK appears 4 times.
Correct 271-m1d is 128 Kb, just split the one of 512 in 4.

Just rename 271-s1.rom in 271-s1.bin.
Just replace ng-lo.rom (CRC32 : 5a86cff2) with ng-lo.rom (CRC32 : e09e253c) in your bios neogeo.zip. http://bioshouse.free.fr
