  1. For all your Dreamcast emulation need go here:

    http://www.dcemulation.com/

    Step 1

You will find that there are loads of emulators for your Dreamcast (SNES, NES, Megadrive, Master System etc), all you have to do is download the CD image i.e. Nero or Disc juggler for the emulator you want, burn the image and it will self boot on your Dreamcast, you dont need a modchip.

    Step 2

Just burn a CD with all the roms for that required Emulator you want, once the emulator boots up, swap the emulator disc with your rom disc, simple as that.

To save on discs you can allways make your own self boot Emu discs with all the roms on them but since you are new you should just get used to the first two steps I gave you.

If your intrested in doing this go here, follow it carefully and you should have no problems:

    http://homebrew.dcemulation.com/selfboot.shtml

This is slightly different to Emu disc but you should get the idea.

I may do a full guide at a later date.

  2. The original Bleemcast discs will boot backup psx games without problems btw, just so you know .

The officialy released Bleemcast discs wont boot up any other game other than the game it was intended for (Can alsoplay proper ripped versions but not common),

But I use the beta relese to play the unreleased game Thrill Kill! great game B)

  3. The other three are 1 game only versions which where officially commercially released and play the games flawlessly with memory card support, a blue one wich plays Tekken 3, a green one for Gran Turismo 2 and a purple one for Metal Gear Solid. (If you do manage to get hold of these beware, they require a dedicated memory card as it will format your VMU)

I have the beta version on my FTP if you want it, but I have the three official versions also but no matter how hard I try I cant create an image of them. (prolly cos they are originals) And for some reason I have never come accross them online.

Hmm... what are the problems you are getting trying to make the image file?

I have heard about this before and people not being able to make a iso out of it.

Have you tried the newest versions of BlindRead and Nero?

    What about Deamon Tools?

Here are some sites that can help you out..

    http://gamecopyworld.com

    http://megagames.com

Trust me mate, you name it i've tried it, all I can think is that they use the same type of protection as the G-DROM, the only thing I havnt tried is through PSO which I am led to beleive this is the way to rip games through the modem, but I wouldnt know where to start, if anyone can advise me on what I need or what to do i'll give it a go :D

  4. There are four versions about, A beta version which playes loads of games, but with either sound or graphics isuues, with a few highly compatible, but offer no memory card support, heres a handy compatability list:

    Supported Games

This works by you putting the bleemcast disc in, once the bleemcast logo apears replace the disc with your playstation disc and it should then load the game. It will also play backup games (I use it to play my rare copy of the unreleased game Thrill Kill).

  5. anything rare, because these things shouldnt be rare, i hate when things are rare, i want to make them NOT rare so everyone can have it and enjoy it

especially DC stuff, it must always be supported with new content so it never dies!!!!

Well, if you want I can create a "Shibathedog's rare Games" folder on my FTP for you, and you can upload stuff there?

    Its up to you... :P

  6. i think thats about 38 dollars US

which most broadband is around $39.95 a month here so you get it slightly cheaper :P

the XMission is only $19.95 a month which is what caught my interest

Yeah, it about the same price roughly,

The other half still isn’t convinced that there is no dial-up charge! She thinks you pay £30 plus pay for the length of time your on, lol

I’ll wait till the bill comes through and prove it lol :P

  7. You will be able to play the entire game 100% correctly assuming the images arent currupt

want to know how i know this without even having the images?

    Grandia 2 CD1

    Game

    Grandia 2 CD2

    Game soundtrack

You dont even need CD2 unless you want to listen to the music from the game, its just a regular ol' audio CD, no game at all

CD1 is the game, its all on one disc

I didnt know this cos I never downloaded the game, I was just asuming it was a multiple disc game, well, thats him sorted.

  8. the "Nope" was in response to a question, and yeah, i would post that in a forum about where to find it, because if no one could find it, or where just too lazy to go into Classic Sega Hub and get it, i would do it for them

Yeah, it was in response do my direct question as to whether or not the disc required a BBA. You said "no". Then, you turn right around and directly say that it DOES require a BBA.

Is it just me or are you being a little... unclear?

I use DreamKey 3 and it does not support the BBA, only dial-up

  9. i HATE, when there is only 1 seeder and then they log off when your download is at 99%

(im on dialup, takes ALL DAY, and right when your getting excited about your new game....BAM...it stops...this is why i download most of my crap at my friends houses where there is cable ;) )

Yeah, I know exactly how you feel, I just got ADSL the other day and before that I just used to ignore downloading games, it was too stressful for me! ;)

  10. I doubtI doubt you will have any problems, but one problem you may encounter could be when you try to swap discs during game play,

I have never done this with backup CD’s but I would say most likely you should be fine.

Just make sure the two CD's are from the same region as if one is US and the other PAL etc, it wont work, but you prob know that anyway.
