ok i grabed the p1 rom for neorage but when i try to run the emu it tells me the i need to put in a name and a key
i tried the exe i got from zophar.net but i get an error saying unable to load program roms
is their a rom dat for neorage?

well some cps2 games use others in order to work like for example:
CPS2 Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter (Japan 970707) mshvsfj.zip needs
CPS2 Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter (US 970827) mshvsf.zip in order to work
the orignal kawa-x included a supported game list which can help you find what rom is giving you a prob

ok thats cuz you didn't get the patch for mslug4 to be used as rbff2, go back to the kawa-x plus link and you should see the mslug4 intro fix patch

make sure you zipped the roms and not the roms in a folder also make sure that you grabed the decrypted set of thoses roms

ok for thoses of you who ever wanted gouki's version of kawa-x default.xbe, i'm gonna make 2 posts of it in newsgroups, one with roms and one without roms and a readme of the rom renaming for those who already have them

try using the c5 and c6 from neorage version of the rom

well the game is based on Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo which was on CPS2 and i have read in a few sites that they are gonna release it in the arcades in japan
also the japan version of it is out for ps2 but i was hoping to also add this to kawa-x some day

Well since neogeo stuff is just about complete, I've heard that capcom is going or already has release Hyper Street Fighter 2 Anniversary Edition to the arcades.
wondering if anyone knows if the rom might be out or when it might be out

another question, now that the roms are going keep their original names, does the roms within (p's,c's and so on) have to be changed as well?

look for Croching Tiger Hidden Dragon Rom + Patch For Kawa-X Plus Thx to N3oGh0zt and Gouki:) for Helping
for those of you that already have the rom, i can send you the patch N3oGh0zt made untill gamecop can post it on his site.
also important, you must have already patched the default.xbe of kawa-x plus with the mslug4 patch thats already out before using this patch

but in the mean time,lets see if you or anyone else can help me on this minor prob;ok a few pages ago you said i you can use the crc to find the offset that you want for a rom, now i'm trying to edit for kof99p v4 rom to be 4mb instead of the 2mb thats set as. now i used the crc B49E6178 and turned into 78619EB4 and it gave me 3 locations:
0013B6F8
0013BAE4
0013BED0
and right before it was there was a 2000 which i'm guessing is showing the 2mb (not sure about that tho) so i'm wondering which do i change or do i change it all to 4?
also about the rom region, how do i go about changing that after making the changes?

man i wish someone could make a nice tutorial about hexing it as good as you and N3oGh0zt does cuz most of us don't know what hell to do unless its told to us in a simple to do manner hehe

ok i'll take my foot out my mouth about that hehe, but now you mentioned before that you can change the size of the rom ex:kof99p v4 rom from 2mb to 4mb, again now i'm a n00b at hexing, and i have tried doing what you mentioned a few pages ago but no luck
also what did you mean by fixing the rom region as well

Well the only problem that i see with it is that xbox has little memory as is (64mb) and plus even the pc emus of those aren't near 100% so i wouldn't hope on it yet
