Whenever you generate a romlist for one of the versions, it overwrites the old romset data (romset.dat saved in the TDATA dir)
yes and thats normal cuz for kawa-x se to run cetain games (svc's and rotd) they have to be overwriten. its still not a big issue as is cuz once you press x, the roms will then show and be working as is
seriously, this is nothing more then being picky at something that really doesn't matter lol. just enjoy the fact that you can play the banned games as is

if you ever happen to read about kawa-x v10-11 then you should know that:
1. It has a known bug that doesn't allow you to change the ini file which is directed to its self (d:\Roms\)
and finally
2. the source for kawa-x (as i mentioned before on my last reply) was never released as is so unless you know how to make the changes that the author has it set to, it just isn't going to happen man
just be happy to able to play the games cuz switching between the emus isn't a problem as is
Edit: I too do have genesis roms and what not but as for mame sake, i keep all neogeo/cps1&2 all in kawa-x's rom folder and the rest that mame does stays with mame

so each time he runs KawaX0.11 it will still take a while to rescan

, it only takes 1 sec to press a button to rescan also you gotta remember, both N3oGhost and Mr. X don't have the source to kawa-x as is to even make a drastic change so just deal with it

personaly, i find it really gay that they still haven't enabled vmm in mame ox cuz i for one am not gonna add 64mb for me just to run a few games unless you wanna pay for it (lantus, a man that made a few emus for xbox even agrees lol)
mslug5 is working on kawaks as is and i'm sure it will be working on kawa-x soon

changing the title id is no prob hell avalaunch dash gives you that option if you use it but as for save data that shouldn't be a prob at all, i use bot kawa-x v11 and se both work fine with the same data
you just gotta remember to press x to refresh for new roms if you switch between emus and enjoy it

it doesn't really make a difference hell i had a m1 for mslug4 that was 256k and it worked no prob on the new kawa-x se

p1 rom mainly is needed since its now back to 6mb and not split in 2 as it was for kawa-x plus. s1 rom as well for plus and bl but m rom doesn't need a change

James great work on the new mame32 but i got a minor prob, this version uses the latest p1's for svc/plus and gamecop hasn't updated the http://svcmame.cjb.net/ since 11/15
so I'm wondering where can i get the latest p1's at? -

ok some big news, its now working on kawaks 1.46
also there seems to be a big encrypted rom (74mb or so) so i'm guessing that is really needed but i'm not 100% on that

ok this is NextGen Emulation which is meant for emus on consoles, your asking about playing svc using kawaks 1.46 which is for pc. go to Current Affairs from there you'll see the pinned svc topic that can tell you how to use kawaks 1.46 for svc.
as for this topic it should be closed or moved by a mod soon

but its not offending me, I never really like using torrents do to the fact that most ppl just leech and don't share.I'm posting to newsgroup cuz i won't have to worry about that since the post will last up there for 3days or so
also if anyone here is from the masters group who released an older Kawa-X Plus without giving credit to the man who did the hack (N3OGH0ST) BURN IN HELL BASTARDS

For the New Year
, I 'm going to make a post on newsgroup tonight of Kawa-X SE and all the roms as they are set for the current version (my rotd rom will have s1 rom in it but as you know its not being used at the moment)
i'll be posting in the following places:

[b]alt.binaries.emulators.neogeo[/b]
[b]alt.binaries.emulators.misc[/b]
when you grab it all you need to do is extract it and add it to your hdd as another emu cuz Kawa-X SE is not meant to replace the Kawa-x v11 but to be as other emu to be used for new games
I'll also be posting the rom pics for ppl who got the emu but want to make sure they got the right rom names and crc's
Look for: Happy New Year, Heres Kawa-X SE (thx to Mr. X) + Banned Roms -

lantus (he started Mame-X untill ox cameout) has a life too but even he knows that vmm has been out for over a year so they had plenty of time as is
and just to note, the last update they did include vmm but it wasn't enabled
