  1. The Godfather of Soul, one of the most sampled artists, James Brown, died early Monday, his agent said. He was 73.

James Brown was hospitalized with pneumonia at Emory Crawford Long Hospital on Sunday and died around 1:45 a.m. Monday, said his agent, Frank Copsidas of Intrigue Music. Longtime friend Charles Bobbit was by his side, he said.

Copsidas said the cause of death was uncertain. "We really don't know at this point what he died of," he said.

Along with Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan and a handful of others, Brown was one of the major musical influences of the past 50 years. At least one generation idolized him, and sometimes openly copied him. His rapid-footed dancing inspired Mick Jagger and Michael Jackson among others. Songs such as David Bowie's "Fame," Prince's "Kiss," George Clinton's "Atomic Dog" and Sly and the Family Stone's "Sing a Simple Song" were clearly based on Brown's rhythms and vocal style.

R.I.P James Brown, a huge influence on alot of the music today. You will be missed.

i would try the bootleg cd thing but i dont know what Cincinnati's equivalent to Chinatown NYC is supposed to be (cincy is lame....there is none) so i dont know where to look.

o0o, i live in brooklyn so there are incense on almost every corner of every block

  3. ooh ive seen these PCs.

Question for you- What kind of HDDs go in that HDD bay? Ive never seen anything in one. Just a regular drive or do you need some weird enclosure?

You should be able to do what you wanted to do then, What you need is some software to display whats going through the input. Although i have no idea what software to use. You could get some video capturing software that has a live preview type function and run that.

what kind of software did HP give you for it? try any of that?

This is my Bros Computer so i kinda dont know, but i do know that he took off the bay and left it open to help keep the PC cool since it heats up alot. And its a Media Center so i think it just uses that

    1. Yes you can plug your Playstation to your computer's video inputs and see it on your computer.

    2. No you cannot play your Playstation on your computer due to the delay in the video.

Sorry, but the only good those input ports will do you is to watch and record. They can't be used to play video games becasue it is not a true live input. A delay occurs between the actual souce input and what you see on the computer screen due to the MPEG encoding on the graphics card and unfortunatly there is no way around this.

There is also an Input port in the back. Im not sure about the delay factor but it shows well.

  4. I understand now.

According to a friend of mine, it's not possible to change my graphics chip unless I change the motherboard and some other stuff.

Do you have idea of what laser I can get for my dreamcast??? would a DVD laser work?? Because not in hell I will be able to get a laser for a dreamcast.

You can find someone else with a broken dreamcast, i know i have a couple lying around here, and those lasers work just fine.

  5. Here is mame32k 0.64 unfortunately in some other language but it's all i've got. Enjoy!

You know, right before i read this i found it :thumbsup1:

    In english ;)

    Thank you anyways

Make sure you save your controls and set them to the default one and a new profile.

Usually in kawaks, the controls revert back to the default one (WASD). I forgot how I fixed it, but I try to avoid using kawaks when I can.

Yea i like MAME better, And i played a few rounds, but i guess im not as good as i thought on MAME. I have to configure my controls a bit better, the input menu is messy but il do it.

And i was reading that Kaillera Forum and i saw an old member there, but apparently he got banned from here. Ash Crimson i think.

  6. What is it that you want to play GorDoone?

MVC, but ive gotten into a few games but then, i control nothing. so im starting and the other person ends up starting w/o me cuz no button works, not the gamepad, not the keyboard, nothing

  7. Kawaks 1.56,Project64k and Mame32K are very commonly used for netplay. You sholud try them cause u can play games like street fighter and metal slug. :thumbsup1:

Yea i got the hang of that part already, but i havent played anything yet, so frustrating. When i finally start a game with Kawaks, All control is lost, my gamepad stops working. and nobody uses MAME32k 0.67, they all use 0.64 which i cant find.

  8. Kailera is the best one. I think Mame supports it, but me,Madi,Axl and Magnis used to play games on it, like the MS series or SFA3 and SSV.

ok I downloaded MAME32k. Its just hard to find someone on the same emulator playing the same game.

  9. OK i figured out my problem, i sorta downloaded the DOS version of it :thumbsup1:

Which is why i didnt see DS and the the list for Input contollers was 16 items.

    Thanks for helping though

    Sry

    :/

That's pretty much what I expected. DOS on Windows XP is not a very good choice, nor will it even run properly.

Besides those two problems i was having, it plays perfectly, i played a game that i never played before and it was great, Castlevania Dracula X.
