    What is the QuasiCON?

    The Quasicon is the only arcade controller on the planet that features analog buttons and joysticks required for next generation game play. The layout of the buttons and joysticks is intuitive and a backlit graphical legend helps guide you through game play. Each Quasicon includes swappable legends for your specific game system. The Quasicon is simple to connect and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty. Whether you are playing a next generation games or classic arcade, the Quasicon is designed for the best possible experience. The two player design features two cables coming from the back of the controller. These cables connect to your favorite game system's controller ports, such as the Playstation, Xbox, or even PC (through USB).

     

    Each Quasicon player has access to two analog joysticks, one 8-way digital arcade joystick, and over 10 pressure sensitive arcade buttons. The pressure sensitive buttons can detect 256 degrees of pressure.

     

    The Quasicon is also handicap friendly! The Quasicon has received praise from the disabled community. People suffering fine motor disorders, such as those suffering from cerebral palsy find new life with the Quasicon's large buttons and joysticks.

    - Added 2 MHz mode support (experimental).

    - The cursor keys are mapped differently in C64-mode now.

    - Fixed C64-mode autostart support.

    - Improved the sound emulation where the 'volume change click' is concerned, and normalized the audio output level.

    - The VIC-II border mode can be selected now (normal, full, debug).

    - Some sprite fixes needed for Krestage 3 demo.

    - Improved drive LED emulation.

    - Fixed the "black screen" bug caused by some X11 library security update.

    - Fixed the usb support for bsd based platforms.

    - Changed the preferred libdir and docdir for netbsd and freebsd.

    - Xaw/XRandR fullscreen mode is supposed to work.

    - Positional keyboard mapping is used as default again.

    - New volume slider control.

    - The win32 port can now be compiled with openwatcom.

    - The os/2 port can now be compiled with openwatcom.

    - Added a build script for the RiscOS port and all needed binary files are now part of the source distribution.

    OldSpark C++ first release

    Arcade emulator

     

    What's new: 12Aug 2007, OldSpark-C++ first public release.

     

    OldSpark C++ is a complete rewrite of my Java Oldspark emulator. It's a multi arcade emulator written with C++and based on the SDL. This open source emulator is released under GPL. See License.txt for more information about the license. The emulator is available for Linux, and Windows. At this stage, the emulator is a command line application. It should not be a problem for people looking for nostalgia :( The idea behind osmose is not to become an object oriented MAME. I wrote it for the fun, and nothing else.

     

    Note: OldSpark C++ expects the roms to be in the directory .\roms in zipped format. Romset are identical to the MAME romset.

    -Z80 cpu.

    -M6809 cpu.

    -SN76489 signal generator.

    -AY-3-8910 signal generator.

    -Namco Sound wave generator.

    -Multiple 76489 sound board.

    -Z80 driven multiple AY-3-8910 sound board.
