Cant get anything to work...

I really havent tried emulating arcade before so I tried to get started and play some but having some problems...

 

I downloaded some roms off of mIRC, the guy said they "Mame 0.77u3 Clrmamed"... soo I tried running them in WinKawaks but no roms show up, I tried the mame32k, and I get the roms to show up as correct but when I try to run them I get the

 

ng-sfix.rom NOT FOUND

neo-geo.rom NOT FOUND

ng-sm1.rom NOT FOUND

ng-lo.rom NOT FOUND

 

error. They showed up as incorrect before and I got these error, but I placed these files in the directory and then they showed up as correct but now I get this error when I try to play...

 

I downloaded the Mame 0.77u emulator and tried running the games but they show up as incorrect and it says

 

ssideki4: sm1.sm1 131072 bytes NOT FOUND

 

for all of them, jsut they have different byte sizes and file names.

I a probably forgot something, just I dont know what to do

Any ideas?

Perhaps you should download NeoRageX it will give you the SNK bios. And is compatible with more SNK Roms.

 

Once you get more familiar with it perhaps you can move up to Nebula and my personal favorite Kawaks.

I had them, and placed them with my roms to fix my first problem... they go into another spot to fix my current problem?

You need MAME32 EMULATOR to that rom.

 

 

Try here for your stuff and see what emualtors they offer i porefer neo rage grab that.

Screw mame for neo geo stick with neo rage or kawaks.

And do not forget ANY neo geo emualtor needs the BIOS rom.
