PSP Starting Price Depends upon TGS

Here is a somewhat interesting article about the price of the PSP. Sony will choose it's price depending on the reaction it gets from the people at the Tokyo Game Show. Now everyone should hate it so they bring the price down. :( But it has to be priced competitevly with the Nintendo DS or it will never sell, or it won't sell as well.

Here's a list of percentages representing how far along the games at TGS are.

* Ape Escape Academy: 50%

* Ten no Kagi Chi no Mon: 30%

* Doco Demo Issyo: 70%

* Minna no Golf Portable: 70%

* The Gagharv: 80%

* Soukyuu no Fafner: 40%

* LUMINES: 75%

* Puyo Puyo Fever: 75%

* T.O.E.: --%

* Shin Ridge Racer: --%

* Kotoba no Puzzle Mojipittan: --%

* Shin Sangokumusou: 40%

* Metal Gear Acid: 60%

* Mahjong Kakutou: 80%

* Coated Arms: 25%

* Puzzle Bobble Pocket: 50%

* Armored Core Formula Front: --%

* Shutokou Battle: 30%

* Vampire Chronicle The Chaos Tower: 60%

* Rengoku The Tower of Purgatory: --%

* Need For Speed Underground Rivals: 50%

* A.I. Series Shogo: 50%

 

Of these titles, only one game has been confirmed to launch with the PSP in Japan -- Need For Speed Underground.
