silVa Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 I found that the amount of vid ram or system ram isnt as important as the GPU on the vid card itself. Fast CPU is great but avoid budget GPU like the plague.

And actually I've heard about others that use the mame I use having problems with some blitter filters, so I am guessing it has to do with my mame itself. Btw, I am using EK-mame, which is compiled by Koreans. Other than the blitter filters, I am loving its user friendly interface, especially in-game movelist/game startegies it comes with
