Creating asr.dat

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if anyone here knows how to find the values in the asr.dat needed to make a rom work in the Kawaks Loader, and if someone does, could you tell me how?

An example of what I want to find is, for Samurai Showdown V p1.rom, in the asr dat it says "ssv_p1.rom,0,800000,FE6F92E0,0". How do I find all those numbers beside the filename?

Thanks.

You need to the right bin/rom files for each part, just use that for referenece. This is mine, it may vary with yours.

First, open the ZIP file with WINRAR. To see it's CRC and Size, then type them in.

This would be the example of the CRC: 89DB2D34.

Since i'm kinda dumb when it comes to making dats, i just copy and paste something, and change all the values for it :D
