Runtime error 50003

What's up guys,

 

I need a little help. I play a game created with VB 6 called EWR 4.2. Well, I uninstalled IE 5.0 and installed 6.0 after I did that I wasn't able to play the game it comes up with runtime error 50003. Does anyone know what I can do to get my game back.

Cause: Visual Basic component not installed properly

 

One of the Visual Basic components was not installed properly.

 

Resolution: Install latest versions of VB run-time files

 

To install the latest versions of Microsoft Visual Basic run-time files:

 

1. Browse to www.microsoft.com.

2. In the [search for] field, type "vbrun60" (without the quotes) and press [Enter].

3. Click the search result entitled "FILE: VBRun60sp5.exe Installs Visual Basic 6.0 SP5 Run-Time Files."

4. Click [VBRun60sp5.exe]. (It may be necessary to scroll down to see the link.)

5. Click [save].

6. Select [Desktop] from the [save in] drop-down list.

7. Click [save].

8. When the download is complete, double-click VBRUN60SP5.exe on the desktop.

9. Restart the Computer
