Inky Posted August 5, 2009 Author Posted August 5, 2009 yes I select all the MP3s at once and edit the id3 tags that way. so the artist and album names are exactly the same. first I select every MP3 from an artist and edit the tag. then I select every MP3 from a given album and edit the tag. I also noticed that a few albums that have art in itunes do not have art on my ipod.
Shibathedog Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 ID3 tagging is garbage in iTunes, I remember this well. Switch to Mediamonkey or something.
Inky Posted August 5, 2009 Author Posted August 5, 2009 I don't think media monkey supports the ipod touch 2g. or at least it didn't when I got the ipod. I'll have to check it out again.
Shibathedog Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 I'm not sure either. You could always tag then import. Although you might want something a little more compact than Mediamonkey if that is all you will be using it for.
Weirdy Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 the tagging and library management in foobar2000 is enough for me I mean, it supports everything
Shibathedog Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 Yeah Foobar is pretty hardcore, I've seen some insane customizations for it. You can turn it into a full blown media center if you want to.
