i just downloaded sfIII-third strike for dreamcast and i want to know how to mount *.cdi in chancast

You can't mount.cdi files in Chankast. :) You must use a separate CD drive/protection emulation program like Alcohol 120% or Daemon Tools. Since you're using the same file I am for SFIII:3rd strike; you can definitely use Daemon Tools to do it.

Which one did you use; Alcohol 120% or Daemon Tools?

I am currently using Daemon Tools 3.29 to mount SFIII:3rd Strike. I recommend the same version.

Yep, I suspected the version of Daemon Tools was the problem there.

I seem to recall I use the European DreamCast BIOS.

Which DreamCast BIOS are you using?

Yep, definitely the WRONG version; you got the US/Japan DreamCast BIOS. You should get the European DreamCast BIOS; you'll definitely know it by the BLUE spiral logo.

thanks man..i'll look for it..and not request for it on this website :P

see this

a little slow....hope i could tweak its performence

Yep, no surprise there; I got the same file running too. :) In Chankast; you should try going to Options and selecting Capcom Hack. That will definitely speed up the frame rate! ;)

The Capcom Hack is needed for all Capcom games, as it makes the games magically work better. My SFIII, mounts and boots perfectly with DT4, so sucks to be you.

Also, it's not DT's fault when the BIOS constantly ask for date/time. Chankast almost always creates a corrupted Dc_flash.bin, which causes the loop.
