OverlordMondo Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 Well, yeah, they didn't say the Blood Elves were a new race. The alliance race is a "new, yet to be revealed" race. There is almost no chance of it being the Dranei or Panderans.

OverlordMondo Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 They already made a new capital city for the Blood Elves, and they added lore to tons of new races in WCIII. To my knowledge the Night Elves didn't even remotely exist until then, but look at how huge they are.
Sybarite Paladin AxL Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 that's cuz blizz never mentioned them and neither did kalimdor before warcraft 3 dude, it's a new continent. besides now that they made the universe relatively large they can't come up with some other random race just like that, bcuz it's highly implausible for 2 hidden races to exist for 1111111111 million years and not know each other (elves and "new" race). I'm not saying it's a bad thing, it would be sweet if they added a new race, but the only capital city, could reside in outland. besides the place where the capital city for the night elves is wasn't even accesible in normal wow.

Now they're warring factions and they're fighting for turf and power, since alliance side's power has been diminished and horde power is still young and growing under Thrall, they need adventurer's to go our into the world and fight for them. That's where you come in.
