IO Error on Chankast...

hello,

i tryed to work with both Selfboot and BootDreams, but I have the same problem when the Image is created.

If I try to run the image on Chankast, it gives me this error : "ioControl ERROR".

Can anybody explain me why?

I explain better my situation. I have not selfbootable but working games, and I want them all selfbootable.

After I've done the selfboot process, chanka gives me that error.

Input/Output Control error. Chankast can not read from the image and write to memory for whatever reason.

All right,

so, do you have any theory to make my selfboot isos working?

Do you know how to use properly dreamboot or selfbbot programs?

I really don't know why they don't give me any errors during the selfboot process, but chancast cannot read the isos i've made.

Hope there is anybody can explain this...

Quite honestly, I haven't used any of those programs nor I do I own a Dreamcast nor have I ever made my own CD images. I simply get my games from the internet. Already selfboot, and they will boot in Chankast, but not necessarily work right.

well nope. All i got, worked (with bootdisk) without altering. K, some didnt boot, but that were merely 20 of the 200

Try using daemon tools 3.29 not 3.46 and 3.47

thanks for reply. I've already tryed what you said.

The version of Daemon doesn't matter for my case bacause all the selfboot game images I own, downloaded from the internet, they run without any problem.

Only the games made with selfboot or bootdreams they don't run.

So you have tested it with 3.29? This is the best version for chankast, it solved that problem for me. Hmm... try to use "securom" or "safedisc" option in daemon tools... And all games i had weren't bootable but i made them bootable with bin2boot program
