I must be the only one, or one of the very few, around here that does still use AOL. I do like the IM catcher feature, it helps sort out any unwanted incoming IMs, not that many people IM me anyways

I use AOL, and I hate every second of it. The damn thing screws up every 20 minutes, causeing huge problems.

 

Worst software ever written.

There are a few problems with AOL.

 

1. It exists.

2. People use it.

3. It manages to make money by flooding you with loud annoying ads.

 

That's why you should use Trillian. It's like having the benfits of AIM, without suffering through having AIM.

 

And strangers never IM you. Ever. The only time it happened to me was when I signed up on this one buddy site as a lesbian. Which we won't go in to.

Well, except once on ICQ WAAAAY back in the day. It was some chick from like israel or something, and she was kind of interesting, so I let it slide.

I get strangers IMing me quite often. I don't mind uless it's someone whose totally gaytarded.
