Saving Games with Chankast 0.25

Recommended Posts

You mean live save states in other emulators? I think you can only save normally like you would on the actual system, like at save points.

Well i started playing Sonic today and i remember that the game automatically saves when you complete stages, but it's not doing that. In my VMS manager it says i have 0 available blocks of memory. Do you have to do anything for it to save?

Found this over at the official Chankast forums (http://www.emutalk.net/showthread.php?t=20636)

Q: I can't save my progress on any game. It says that there is no memory card or that the memory card does not have enough free blocks even though it's full. Why?

A: You have to create a memory card from the plugins configuration of the emulator; then run the emulator without a CD in the (virtual) drive and format it from the bios.
