MP3 problems...

Recommended Posts

I have seen some of the past topics here and I have noticed a few people mentioning their Winmugen having problems playing mp3s on win xp. Well, so do I and I would like to know how to fix this situation. I have seen past links to some mp3 plug-ins for mugen but the forum that has them no longer accepts new registers.

Please, any kind of help will be appriciated...

again, I am having problems playing mp3 on mugen. Everything else works just fine.

Your in luck...

Best plugin for Mp3s.

Just unzip into your Winmugen plugin directory, and add the line in the plugin section of your mugen.cfg

Cheers for that too btw, i've been trying for quite a while to get some clearer sound in my Ultimate MUGEN.

Problem is its still a bit jerky, what line do you use when u apply this plugin to your "MUGEN.CFG"

Also note that i have a SB LIVE card and there was some stuff about it not supporting 24- or 32-bit output, if that helps your answer... :)

Appreciating ure continued help,

Elf

;List Winamp-compatible plugins here.

;Specify the filename of the plugin and the list of file types to

;use the plugin for. One plugin per line.

;Example: plugin = plugins/my_plugin.dll, mp3, mp2, mpg

;

;If music is not looping with a particular plugin, you can try an

;optional first argument looptype=1 (seek to zero; may stutter)

;or looptype=2 (reload plugin; slow).

;Example: plugin = looptype=1, plugins/my_plugin.dll, mp3, mp2, mpg

Under that there should be a line that reads...

plugin =

Change it to...

plugin =plugins/in_mp3.dll, mp3, mp2, mpg ;plugins/in_mp3PRO.dll, mp3, mp2, mpg

That's it =)
