Swithin Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 (edited) Try deleting the EEP ROM file (game_name.srm in the eeprom folder) and reloading the game. That usually works. Edited November 30, 2004 by Swithin
Agozer Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 Try deleting the EEP ROM file (game_name.srm in the eeprom folder) and reloading the game. That usually works.Yes, this might actually work in some cases, since Static RAM sometimes behaves incorrectly when the emulator writes it.
Edgecution Posted November 30, 2004 Author Posted November 30, 2004 (edited) Won't work. Just deleted the file and tried it again, no changes. This is my file romfile... EDIT: OMG...I'm so sorry! Now i see that the CRCs are not identically. Sorry...i'm such a dumbass Edited November 30, 2004 by KyoKusanagi
Agozer Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 Yeah, correct the DAT to match your CRCs. You wouldn't happen to be german by any change Kyo?
Swithin Posted November 30, 2004 Posted November 30, 2004 Well, he appears to be running Windows in German, and he's from Hannover. My guess, he's Polynisian. Don't worry about the dat thing, Kyo. It's happened to *all* of us, I just assumed that if that was the problem you'd be getting an error message to let you know... odd that you didn't.

Edgecution Posted December 1, 2004 Author Posted December 1, 2004 Okay, this is getting strange. I finally renamed all CRC's in the dat-file. I looked at them all about 5 times and they're matching perfectly with the the files contained in die kof2003.zip. Problem is - still no change. ARGH.

That's why I switched to Nebula Loader.
Sturmvogel Posted December 1, 2004 Posted December 1, 2004 Here's your solution dude. Have someone send it to you!! Either that or its gonna be back and forth like this for a while. That is, if anyone here's willing to do it. Gosh....I'm thankful I only deal with mostly NeorageX roms. Sure, the emu is dated but I dig it still. .Of course I can't netplay but I'll start to use Mame for that pretty soon.
Agozer Posted December 1, 2004 Posted December 1, 2004 Well, I got my Kawaks Loader thanks to Mr. G and it didn't work, but worked for him. Go figure.
Xeon Posted December 1, 2004 Posted December 1, 2004 the problem are the P ROMs, those are the original release bootleg P ROMs that wouldnt run in anything else other than MAME and FBA. Neither Kawaks loader nor Nebula will work with those P ROMs.
Edgecution Posted December 1, 2004 Author Posted December 1, 2004 @AgozerGood Idea, generally. Problem is - my PC is currently broken, so i am only able to use the one of my dad, which isn't that fast. The funny thing is that Kawaks runs on Top Speed (except the CPS2 & CPS1-Roms, which seem to need more Processorpower), while Nebula runs very sluggish. @XeonOkay, thanks. So i'll look for another romfile to get the valid p-roms. Thanks for your help and your patience. I don't know many boards where i wouldn't have been flamed for my total lack of experience
Xeon Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 i got a news for you, i have a fix for your P ROMs (just found out after scrounging my harddrive yesterday). pm me your e-mail address if you want me to send it to you.
Edgecution Posted December 3, 2004 Author Posted December 3, 2004 Thanks, Xeon. Will test it tonight.
