  1. I agree with the balance. So human beings have to balance order and chaos in their daily lives to survive together. But then if there really is a god or a devil, and lets say for this thread that there is. Neither should win? The balance comes from the struggle? So maybe god isn't all that good according to what we believe or the devil as bad? We consider slavery bad. The devil was an angel created to serve god... sound familiar, and the day he say "no more" he is evil? Weird huh.

  2. I was thinking something weird today. I will write down some thoughts and you guys tell me what you think.

    After playing Shin Megami Tensei. I started to look up some of the arguments the game presents. And I found them to be somewhat interesting. Maybe not the way it's presented but if you think about it it's not far fetched. And no I'm not talking about demons and computers, but about good and evil.

    God = Order

    Devil = Chaos

    George Washington was chaotic but he was good, revolution for a good cause. And far from what we think is the devil.

    Hitler was order but he was bad. And close to our thoughts of what the devil is. He wanted perfection in a very evil way.

    So order does not equal good and chaos does not equal evil.

    Any thoughts?

    ;)

  3. Tynvar already picked off most of what I'd have said.

    I'll just add something I watched most recently which was Macross Frontier. It fits into all those genres of mechs/love/drama/comedy pretty nicely. There's a ton of singing so if that kind of thing puts you off then you may not like it. I liked it though, they blended the singing in with the mech fights pretty well and the story behind it was reasonable and for the most part it worked. I can only think of 1 episode of it where the singing was poorly used.

    For some reason Macross has always been about singing. It's just a big part as mechas are. It sometimes bothers me but overall it's not bad.

  4. When you install software like nero, alcohol, magic iso, disc juggler... you have the option to add virtual drives. Virtual drives show up in My PC like normal CD/DVD units but have the option to load an image. Once you load your image to that drive then you can tell the software to rip the image to the format you wish from that drive like if it were a normal CD/DVD unit. Or you can just run the image from that drive, without the need to burn, your best bet would be to turn that nrg to something more common not just cdi. But it really doesn't matter.

  5. Last night my Dreamcast battery died. So I decided to open the good old DC and change it. I remember there was a guide somewhere around here but the board was offline for some reason. I couldn't wait so I went ahead and looked for instructions on Google. I found 3 interesting things. To change it quickly I just taped the battery on with electrical tape, which I read is bad because the right way is to solder. The next thing that read which seemed quite odd is that the original battery is rechargeable... It looks normal to me not rechargeable. Also I had none of those thin batteries so I used a CR2032. It matches the needed voltage. In the end the DC is working fine and everything is ok.

    So even though the Dreamcast is working fine I have those 3 questions.

    1. Do I need to solder it so it "works better"?

    2. Was that really a rechargeable battery, and won't a normal one burst since it's not rechargeable?

    3. Does it matter that I used a CR2032?

    These questions have probably been asked a million times but I know some of you are experts on this and I would like to hear the replies from you.

  6. The site used to be a bit more active. It still is more active than other sites I used to visit. When I admin havoc forums I used to delete users that had no posts and registered a year ago, so not to get inflated user numbers compared to actual posting users.
