The Neogeo.zip needs to be in the roms folder.
It is. Whether i put it in the roms folder or in the neogeo folder (which itself is in the roms folder), it still doesn't show up in the list when i rescan.

What game are you trying it with?
I dont have mame32 but I've got the command-line version, and i couldn't notice any difference betwwen scanlines on or off. Certainly there was no tearing with hwstretch on. I tried 104 with the same options and it looked the same to me.
mame -scanlines -effect sharp -hws kof2002
i want scanlines
tried the command line you had given,it does not produce scanlines
thoug it does produce a very sharp image,and that is gooood :
you sure this commandline gives scanlines cause i will try the command line version

can somebody please help me get scanlines to work with mame32.105
i want classic scanlines to work which looks good
i'm able to make it work but if i put the streach on the scanlines become irregular

I need some help with ripping the sprites out of cps2 games such as Vampire Savior/Hunter, Street Fighter Alpha, etc. Now I hate asking questions that make me sound like a n00b but I don't have too much choice. I know how to use kawaks with the shot factory and the screenshots but my problem is in getting every single sprite a character has. The only thing I can think of is executing every move with a character then pausing and advancing frame but that isn't a very productive way of doing it and will create much more work for me then need be. If anyone can assist me by explaining (in a detailed manner) exactly how I can effectively rip every sprite for a given character then I will be very appreciative.

FYI, I need the sprites because I plan on working with the MUGEN program on my spare time.

i ve used a lot of emulators and found that MAME is the best emulator
for neo-geo out there,so try to get mame roms and get them to work with mame32
kawaks is not supposed to be that accurate too ill have you know

Yep, definitely the WRONG version; you got the US/Japan DreamCast BIOS. You should get the European DreamCast BIOS; you'll definitely know it by the BLUE spiral logo.

You can't mount.cdi files in Chankast. You must use a separate CD drive/protection emulation program like Alcohol 120% or Daemon Tools. Since you're using the same file I am for SFIII:3rd strike; you can definitely use Daemon Tools to do it.
